From the outside this TJ Maxx doesn’t look like the cleanest store but it’s actually pretty clean on the inside. It’s dangerous for me to go here because I almost always leave with something when I come to this location. I’ve bought everything from purses, candles, clothing — they have a decent plus size section, beauty and hair products, earrings, shoes, housewares, and photo frames, and I recall being happy with everything. The only draw back to these types of stores is if you find something you like STOCKUP! I’ve went back a few days later after being really happy with hair chalk and a specific scent of a candle only to find it was no longer there. :(

The Louisville stores are much larger so much more to select from. Always find great sunglasses and purses at a great price!

A decent discount or close out department store. There is quite a bit of discounted name brand clothing here(discontinued items, last season’s items, or irregular items). Clothing doesn’t bring me in as I usually don’t find anything to my liking. I like the mixed bag assortment(and large assortment, I must say) of housewares, bedding, home décor, and kitchen items. Some prices are good, while some prices don’t really seem«discounted» as they advertise. This store is about as plain looking as it can be. It’s a discount store, so I don’t expect much, but this chain has other locations in the greater Louisville area that look much better. It’s not run down by any means. It’s a fairly new location(a remodeled portion of an old Target building). Whoever designed the look of this store shouldn’t win any awards! I never go out of my way for this store, but when I am in the mood to go on a browsing spree in the this retail saturated part of down, I usually include this store.
