Blue Moon Activewear

I went to Blue Moon because my gym (Sante) recommended it. I was pleased to find Calvin Klein activewear — which is my fav brand of pants; they fit well, last forever, and don’t fade. The service was excellent. A woman asked me what I was looking for, recommended a few items, and kept coming back to the dressing room to see if I needed anything. It was a great experience & I’ll be back!

As the other reviewer stated, this store has great merchandise but horrible customer service. I have never been treated so rudely in a store before. I was in the store nearly an hour before closing time and they were checking their watches when I asked to try something on. One woman rolled her eyes. Come on! She was rude to customers on the phone as well as other patrons. I don’t know how they are still open.
I will not be back.

I was so excited to shop at a local store for higher end athletic apparel. I would much prefer to support a local shop than a chain. However, I will NEVER set foot in this store again. I walked in and told the lady in the front what I was looking for, she looked me up and down, and asked what size i needed. I answered small, she scoffed and grudgingly gave size small running pants, saying «here see if you can get these on.»
Her response was inappropriate and rude and bordering on hostile no matter what my size. But at a size 4 — small athletic pants are the correct size. If I had not had a Groupon to spend, I would have turned on my heels and walked out. I thought I was overreacting, but my mom was with me and confirmed that in fact, the lady had all but outright called me fat.
I asked for the same item in a different material, and was again scoffed at and blown off. I found myself in the fitting room with a question and afraid to go ask it for fear of yet another judgmental conversation. I will never shop here again.

I’m not sure which owner the person who gave you a one star dealt with. I feel bad for her as I have been treated like that at OTHER stores which also would make me never want to return. I must have dealt with the other owner. I hope the one you dealt with above gets it together as that makes a world of difference, how a person is treated. I LOVED Blue Moon! I had purchased a Groupon and used it at your store. Thank you for not making me feel uncomfortable when using the coupon at your store. Sometimes, even when a store offers a coupon, they then turn rude and unhelpful when I present it. You all did not do that. Thank you for treating me with respect and being so helpful! I actually bought more then the Groupon offered and I will definitely come back. Loving my second base Cami bra and want to come back and get them in every color. Glad you had the plain ones too without the lace. I need those for some of my basic shirts or non-​dressy outfits. I love everything I bought. I’m so happy about your store! Best time I have had in a store that I can remember. Such a cute store, wonderful selection and the way I was treated was unique these days. That means so much. Please keep up the good work and continue treating others with respect and kindness as you did to me. That can make or break a store. You all were wonderful to me! I have no complaints at all!

This place rocks! As a yoga teacher I need a place to refer my female yoga students for gear and Blue Moon has it all. Very nice customer service too. They have the best selection in St. Louis for active wear for women.

First off, the store has a GREAT selection of fitness wear, I mean probably the best collection of stuff anywhere in the area. However, as you might have noticed, I gave them one star… well, let’s just say that one of the women who run/​own Blue Moon is just plain awful, rude, belligerent, hostile, inconsiderate, insensitive, and I could go on.
Not only does she aggressively reprimand the staff in front of customers, but she is just shockingly rude to customers. Sure, they have some really great stuff, but I’d rather go online to Lucy and get the exact same stuff they have in the store AND pay the shipping and handling then have to go in there and be verbally abused while trying to give them my money.
I mean really… is it that hard to at least fake being nice and considerate? I’m trying to give you some of my cash!
