These guys are excellent! Very professional and thorough. They were done in an hour!!! Including cleanup!!! Wow.

Waraner Bros provided stupendous tree service with a great skilled team in both cutting down big trees in cramped area and pruning our entire backyard and they were priced the best. Could not ask for anything more — Highly recommend!

We had a very large, leaning Monterey Pine. It’s roots were undermining our driveway, front yard, pulling out a retaining wall, heading towards our foundation and we decided it was time to remove. We also did not want it to come crashing down unexpectedly!
Ed was great, as was Patsy. Professional, knowledgeable, had safety in mind, and the workers were super efficient and hard working! Would use them again in a heartbeat!

These guys are awesome!!! I just had them trim several trees and cut down two really huge trees on my property. Patsy went out of her way to accomodate my schedule and she kept me informed every step of the way. My job took two days to finish. The crew that came to my home showed up early both times. They were very courteous and did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. Ed and Patsy are wonderful people and treat their employees with respect. Ed even came out to the job site to make sure the guys had fresh water. I would highly recommend them.

I had a very large pine tree and two other stumps/​tree removed from the property. The dead pine tree was at least 60+ feet tall and in a bad place hanging over the house and in between electrical lines. They took care of it without any damage to the house. These guys were good!
The reason for only four stars was a small rotted out ash tree in the front yard maybe a ten foot high stump was brought down and it clipped my neighbors rickety fence. It only broke the one fence post but all of the boards were still good. They brought in a new post and repaired the fence. From a distance it looks fine, but when I went over there to make sure it was right, they did a extremely poor job. I’m talking fence boards not even screwed into the cross beam. They put screws in but totally missed the 2×4. I know it was later in the day on a Saturday but they should have finished the job off right. Now, I will spend my afternoon fixing the fence correctly for the neighbors.
I still highly recommend them to anyone who asks. Ed is a straight up guy and gave a very honest estimate. If I need anything else done, I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. I really wanted to give them 5 stars!

Ed came out and gave a very reasonable estimate for stump grinding and got his folks out there as promised within 2 days. I’ll be calling him again for some tree removal/​trimming, and highly recommend his service.

Satisfied Again! I called Waraner Bros Tree Service about some trees on my property at my home in Martinez! Again Patsy was the Nice Lady who answered my call. and again her husband Ed was at my house within the hour! he gave me a more than fair price and I agreed to hire them on the spot! When it came to scheduling I was a little bummed they were pretty booked up and couldn’t get to my house for another week. But then 2 days later Patsy called and said they just had a cancellation and could be at my house within the hour! I was thrilled!
The guys showed up on the time I was told and went straight to work! I actually had to leave for work at that time but I told them to call when they were almost done and I would come back and check everything out. I got the call a couple hours later saying they were just wrapping everything up. When I got there i was very pleased with the work they did, they cleaned up my front yard including all the leaves that were already on the ground AND cleaned out my rain gutters that were stuffed to the brim that I had been dreading cleaning when they were finished. But they did it all for me!
I could not be happier with the work they did again! I will 100% call them and recommend them to anyone I know in the future! Thanks again!

Ed and Patsy and their hard working crews are the best.
We had 2 – 20 year old Weeping Willows (over 35 feet tall) removed as they got too large/​tall for the side yard of our Patio Home.
Ed’s crew came in with a large crane and both trees and all trimmings and trunks were removed in a flat 4 hours, total… including all clean-​ups afterwards.
Ed’s crew is well trained and work very safely.
Our work was not an emergency and they were busy with pressing work after a very severe wind storm 1.5 weeks ago.
Appointment was made and they held it and showed up on time and on the day promised.
Clean-​up of our yard, our driveway and even our next door neighbor’s back yard was done thoroughly. The guys and the crane worked over our front yard landscaping to get to the trees in our side yard. Nothing in our landscaping was damaged ! Hurray !!!
I would recommend Ed and Patsy to anyone needing great work done professionally, safely, and at very fair prices.
We can now sleep well at night not having to worry about hearing a tree crash on our home or on our neighbors.

Great service, low prices — what more do you expect?
We had three big redwoods taken out, three magnolias, and at the last minute I added two bay laurels. Ed and his crew did a great job, very prompt, and quick on the job. I expected two days, but they were totally done in less five hours, including a very thorough clean-​up, including cleaning the little debris that fell in the pool.
Two weeks ago they removed two 100′ redwoods from my MIL’s home, and she was extremely satisfied with Waraner Bros.
We all highly recommend them for tree removal in the East Bay!

We had a tree fall on our house last month. I called Waraner Bros. Tree Service to remove it. Ed came out to look at the tree and give me an estimate. He suggested using his crane to remove it to prevent any damage or further damage to the house.
When Ed and the crew removed the tree with the crane it was impressive to watch as it was carefully removed from the house and maneuvered away from the fence, retaining wall and mailbox and placed in the street where it was quickly cut up and disposed of. Afterwards they cleaned up all of the leftover debris.
The insurance company was happy with the price and said it was very reasonable, especially with the use of the crane. I’d definitely use them again, Ed and his company are great.
