Just picked up some new parts for my AR. Jeff was more than happy to explain the installation process and what not to do. I have been in several times in the past, getting advice from Jeff and or Jeremy about parts for my hand guns I have purchased there. Their online shop is excellent. I just purchased my first gun ever from Clear Spring Gun Shop. I went multiple times, each time having more questions than the last. The staff was always friendly and very knowledgeable. I finally decided which rifle I wanted, so I made my way up there from Smithsburg (more gun stores close to me, but I didn’t receive the same hospitality, nor price. Everywhere else wanted $ 70-​$ 100 more.) CSGS was the cheapest price around for identical rifles. They didn’t have the rifle that I wanted, but it was already on order, and took a total of one day to receive it.
To Jeff (the owner), you’ve gained a lifelong customer. Keep up the great prices and treating everyone with such great character!

We visit the shop often and once again, they had something no one else had. They had a Remington 597 rifle that I fell in love with. I looked at it every time we went in for almost 2 months. We went in to pick up my boyfriend’s pistols and I noticed it was gone. I told Jeff he needed to order another one exactly like it. Little did I know, he was in on a secret. My boyfriend had already purchased it for me. Absolutely love shooting it. It’s not picky about ammo and not hard to clean. If you’re looking for good prices, great service and nice people; this is the place!
