History
Established in 1980.
Mama Nunziata Bowers came from Italy to New York and eventually moved to Florida after a successful time in New York. The whole family works in the deli everyday to assure you the best quality possible. Mama has been featured on Bay News 9, ABC Action News, NBC, and with Charley Belcher on Fox 13. As well as being featured in the St Pete Times, Tampa Bay Business Journal, and in the nationally published book The Journey of Italians in America. She has done book signings, hosted cooking classes, and become a local celebrity in the Tampa Bay area spreading her love all over.

Mama came to the United States at the young age of 16 and instantly made her impact on the deli scene in New York City. The family owned multiple delis throughout New York City before moving to Florida to bring their amazing food to a whole new group of people.
Over the past 28 years of being in business, Mama has not only been a successful woman in business, but she has built unbreakable bonds with the whole community. When you walk into A&N you feel like you are a member of the family. Not to mention Mama has been become a local celebrity, starring with Charley Belcher on Fox 13 multiple times as well as being on Bay News 9, NBC, ABC Action News and being featured in the Tampa Bay Times, Tampa Bay Business Journal, Creative Loafing, and the nationally published book «The Journey of Italians in America».
