Our business originated in 1983 back in Santa Barbara, California when Al’s mom asked him to tint the windows of her Mercedes 450sl. After tinting her car she asked to have her home windows tinted to reduce heat and light. She was an interior decorator and raved about the performance of the product to all of her friends. Al then decided to open a business in Newport Beach, California. It was called Western Glass Tinting. The business thrived for over 20 years. In 2002 Al and I became business partners and in 2009 we expanded into Florida as Al’s Window Tinting & Custom Window Treatments featuring Hunter Douglas window treatments for residential and commercial.
