Specialties

In 1982, a young stylist mixed Haute Couture and traditional Dressmaking style in her first collection called «Cocktail and Evening», conquering the fashion world and the best Fashion stores in the entire Italy and Japan. The brand «GIOFFRE’» combines modern trends with the 1950’s fashion, offering women high-profile prêt-á-porter articles, custom made, giving them the chance to become a status symbol. In 1986 the stylist opened her GIOFFRE’ store in Brera, the «heart» of Milan. Her fashion attracted the attention of the most elegant and feminine women, even from America, and in February 2007, a new GIOFFRE’ store was opened in Florida.

Today the brand includes every day wear, cocktail dresses, evening dresses, leather articles, cashmere, knitwear & shoes

Meet the Business Owner

Angela Gioffre G.

Business Owner

I was born in a little town in Calabbria. I do not consider myself only a stylist but also a woman who loves people and can observe the best in them and bring it to life.

My passion for fabbrics and the dressmaking is deeply rooted in my adolescence: I remember when the dressmaker of my native place moved to my house to cut and sew dresses for me and my sisters. My best memories are from those times: I could breathe the particular scent of cotton, linen and silk admired their beauty and I dreamt to have all these fabrics at my disposal to create dresses for everyone.

At the age of 17 I moved to London to work in fashion I worked many jobs and with the money I had made I moved back to Italy and started my own brand GIOFFRE.
