Master Mehrdad Khan Moayedi has been teaching Traditional Martial Arts and Muay Thai in the St. Petersburg/​Clearwater area since 1992. He has dedicated his whole life to this ancient art and wants to share this passion with people. In our dojo you will train traditional Hapkido and Muay Thai, while building your mind as well as your spirit. At Master Mehrdad’s we believe everyone has the ability to become a great Martial Artist and we want to help you get there. We teach adult as well as children classes, and have fun and upbeat fitness classes that will get your heart racing. We also offer Yoga, After school care, and summer programs for children.

History

Established in 1993.

Master Mehrdad wanted to bring his passion for traditional Martial Art to the people around him and opened his first location in 1993. Master Mehrdad always says «It’s not a job, it’s fun» and he brings that mantra to everything he teaches.

Business Owner

Master Mehrdad Khan Moayedi is the founder and CEO of World Shin Do Kumaté Association, Inc. He began teaching traditional Martial Arts and Muay Thai in the Tampa Bay area in 1992 and opened his first Dojang in St. Petersburg, Florida the following year. In 2007, he relocated his business to Feather Sound in Clearwater, FL where he currently teaches the Art of Shin Do Kumaté, and builds high ranking Martial Art Black Belt students and champion fighters.
