History

Established in 1961.

O’Keefe’s was established in 1961 by William «Bill» O’Keefe, consisting of only the «tap room». Bill’s son Frank was a member of the famous Outlaws band and

O’Keefe’s was always a frequent hangout for the

musicians.

Bill passed away in 1969, and Joe Smith took

over. After a devastating car crash into the building,

Joe remodeled and added on the «Cedar Room».

He owned O’Keefe’s for over a decade and then in 1980 sold it to Father and son team Tony and Garth duQuesnay. O’Keefe’s has been family owned and operated since.

Mr. Tony duQuesnay passed away in 2005, leaving

O’Keefe’s stewardship to Garth, his wife Terri and

children Danielle and Travis.

Our Executive chef Mike Lane has grown up at O’Keefe’s, leading the kitchen since 1978. He has been

creating our famous award-winning masterpieces

since nearly the beginning, continuing the legacy that

has made O’Keefe’s such a resounding success.

We keep the tradition alive today by still offering some

entrees from the original menu.
