Our 3000 + sq ft «dog house» is an air conditioned and heated facility with condos sized to be comfortable for your pets. Our outdoor playgrounds include K9 turf and an acre to run on.

At Texas Tails we understand that you may not want to leave your furry family member at a facility with little attention, sick animals, or a solitary-​confinement boarding kennel where your baby is warehoused,

That’s why we are so excited to offer a guilt-​free, open concept, fun alternative to conventional boarding. We are literally a home away from home for your precious pet. We offer one premium service for ALL guests with a safe, comfortable, CLEAN home-​like environment including sofas, chairs and even a television. All fur kids are number one. All guests enjoy human and canine interaction, treats and playtime throughout the day. Dogs will enjoy a spacious canine condo, a bedtime snack, and raised bed to ensure your best friend a comfortable nights rest. Multiple pets may stay together if requested.

Our cats are housed in a separate room away from the dogs. Our cattery offers a large play space in addition to four story condos, toys and window views.

Our SPAW offers full service grooming done by certified experienced groomers. Roomy facility with state of the art equipment including large stainless steel tub and relaxing bathing system helps to insure your dogs safety and comfort during their spaw day.

Patsy K.

Business Owner

Garey and Patsy have owned, loved and cared for animals for over fifty years. That’s over 100 years combined experience! Garey is a retired captain with the Ft Worth Fire Department. Patsy is retired from a sales and marketing career. Both love animals and feel a great responsibility in caring for your babies. They live on the premises so your pets can be watched ²⁴⁄₇.

They have three human children and nine grandchildren. The Kirks have owned several breeds of dogs, both big and small. For the last twelve years they have focused on breeding and showing Papillons having earned an AKC Breeder of Merit Distinction. Their kennel, Esprit Papillons, has produced six AKC Champions and four Grand Champions. Other pets include miniature donkeys, chickens and cats.
