Established in 2013.

Emily and Michael Roels met while working as massage instructors in Winston-​Salem. They started Essential Balanced Bodywork to provide a space for people to heal. They have been licensed massage therapist for a combined 24 years. Emily is specialized in Reflexology and Acutonics Sound Healing. Michael created RoelsMethod Structural Bodywork and has helped many people be pain free. Our main location is in Clemmons, NC.

Michael Roels has developed RoelsMethod Structural Bodywork over the past 16 years. In 1997 he was in a 70 mph head on colission. He herniated all his lumbar discs and sufferred from migraine headaches and was also diagnosed with fibromyalgia. After his healing in 2000 he has dedicated his life to helping educate people about their muscular system and helping people alleviate pain with his technique. He moved back home to North Carolina from Maui, Hawaii to train other therapist in his method.
