Corellis Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria

Went in today with my girlfriend and her parents. I’m from the Northeast so I’m used to a pretty gruff attitude. We were waited on by 3 separate people. The first server barely spoke to us. I’m overly nice to people with thank yous and all that bullshit and was met with either nothing or «ya» after that my girls parents told me last time they were there the same waiter was making snide comments about them ordering waters and how «oh there’s just gonna be a great tip from this table» so needless to say the reviews about attitude are probably entirely true.
On the plus side the second person who helped us was probably 14 to 16 years old. He delivered our food, albeit to the wrong people but we figured it out. He made every effort to help us and asked us what we needed afterwards. Kudos to him. Our waters were never refilled and we were never asked if we wanted more wine.
The food though! Unreal. It was so good. We ordered strombolli, calzone, and cannelloni, all of them were delicious.
Honestly I didn’t really mind the half a shitty attitude and if we really wanted more water and more wine we could have said something more. I feel like this is one of those places you have to know what you’re getting yourself into and not talk too personally. Frankly it didn’t bother me that much and the food is worth it.
would have been 5 stars if someone had given a shit about refilling drinks and just said your welcome.
Would recommend if you like good Italian and have thick skin.
Also it’s fucking Clermont, what do you really want?

If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered Chicken Florentine which per their menu is grilled chicken, got chicken parmigiana (which is breaded and deep fried). i can’t eat fried foods which is why I ordered the grilled chicken. When we asked them about it we were told well that is just the way we do it. Why have a menu if you can’t cook what is on it. Ridiculous! Wasted time and money for a meal I can’t eat.

Great service, great food and an affordable price. If you’re looking for true Italian food this is the place to go. Garlic knots are out of this world!

This is our all time favorite place to have Italian food! Family owned business with awesome customer service! We always feel like family when we are here. The food amazing. The best pizza in Florida! The fruti da mar seafood dinner is enough for two or three people. If you are ever in Clermont Florida, make sure this is one your stops.

Fabulous Italian and very generous portions. We don’t often visit the same place twice in a week but this place was worth coming back for. When we come back into town we will be returning again and again.

Been by many times and decided to stop in for lunch… pizzas are way overpriced… I had the pasta carbonara, I told them to hold the ham and black olives please??? ham and black olives have no business in carbonara… nice garlic knots and the pasta dish was good. Went by for dinner and the prices are more than doubled!!! Staff is dressed more than casual for the prices and atmosphere… We actually left and went to Carrabbas, that was a mistake as well!!! WTF!!! I have no problem spending money as long as the business appreciates the customer.

The best food in Florida hands down. You won’t find a better Italian food restaurant.

By far the best pizza place we’ve been to in lake county! From the garlic knots to the HUGE pizza, we will now be regulars here!

The food here is absolutely fantastic. We are originally from the northeast and know what New York style pizza is supposed to taste like. The pizza at Corelli’s is the closest thing we’ve had in Florida to new York style. We’ve been living in central FL for 25 years and have been to almost every pizza joint you can think of. The pasta dishes are also superb. Service here is usually good but can be spotty from time to time.
So…you probably wonder why, only the 3 star rating? The problem is in their check process. At the end of the meal the server brings a handwritten check with the total amount circled. The problem is that not all of the entrees and beverages are clearly detailed and there is no tax amount shown. You pretty much have to keep track of what you order on your own. While the totals are most always within ballpark of what i had estimated, there is no real way to be sure unless you write everything down yourself which is a hassle and shouldn’t need to be necessary.
Our last visit was several days before Christmas. The final bill looked to be correct. However, upon reviewing my recent American Express statement I found that they had run the dinner charge through twice. Hopefully this was an honest oversight. I’m sure some people would vow to never return to this establishment. For me, the food is much too good to give up. We shall continue to patronize Corelli’s albeit on a cash only basis.
if you go… bring your appetite, calculator and plenty of cash!

We are in town for a soccer tournament and it also happens to be my youngest son’s birthday. We came here based on great reviews and will never be back. I can’t say the staff is rude because they didn’t speak. We ordered and they delivered our food in passing. We can get mediocre pizza somewhere else…

I could see how this place could be good. Seems authentic, smells good, etc. Came in 30 mins before close, met with collective dirty looks from the staff. Two people in our party asked for water, and the server we had made some mocking comment about getting water and never brought it. We ordered two stromboli sandwhiches, they came out and the insides were cold and the cheese wasn’t melted. My friend sent one back, they heated it up in the microwave. The same friend gave feedback on the way out the door and was met with justifications for the under cooked stromboli along with plenty of eye rolls. Finally the employee walked off and said I cant deal with this.
Again…I figure the food was a one off bad experience… I can honestly see how it could be good. But I have never seen a staff that was so overly arrogant and rude. If you want to be treated like shit, totally recommend you come here.

Great food. The wife had Chicken Marsala and I had Chicken Parmesan. Great little garlic rolls to. Definitely will return.

The absolute closest you will come to true New York Italian pizzeria!!! Awesome family owned and ran. Love the ambiance. A little pricey but worth every penny!!!
I will go there again, and again, and again…

Pleasant atmosphere! Spacious booths! Nice server very friendly and talkative. Very welcoming! Excellent pizza with thin crust nice sauce. We can’t wait to reunite for dinner and try their pasta. I noticed a large wine selection so we should have no trouble having a nice glass of wine.
Lunch crowd seemed very pleased as we were! We will definitely return!

My husband and I are new to Clermont and we heard about Corelli’s from a friend who used to live in the area. She described it as «okay.» We decided to give it a try after looking at their menu online.
If I had to choose one Italian restaurant to eat at for the rest of my life: Corelli’s would be it. I would even venture to say that it’s better than the hole-​in-​the-​wall in Little Italy in Manhattan.
The staff is very attentive, yet laid back. It’s not uncommon to hear servers shouting to each other that they’ll grab your refill. I have eaten in the restaurant twice and have taken food to go more often than I would like to admit.
The food is always on point and the kindness of the staff is something you would expect from a small town like Clermont. Must try the Fettucine Carbonara and the knots!

New to the area, & heard many great comments persuading us to try out Corelli’s. One word, WOW! This place may look small on the outside… But don’t let looks turn you away! Inside it is filled with a friendly, family atmosphere serving up some out-​of-​this-​world food!
We started out with Meiomi Pinot noir, which was generously poured and very reasonably priced. I ordered the Eggplant Rollatini entrée, while my fiancé ordered the SMALL (bigger than his head) calzone. These came out steaming hot and freshly made. Everything tasted authentic & delicious, including the garlic rolls and house salad w/​homemade dressing. We could rant and rave all night on the awesome service! We will definitely be frequenting this place!

Five stars — easy! Excellent food, flavor, fresh and authentic! Great for a date, or for the family. Very reasonably priced.
This is a family owned business, and your dinner experience is truly their priority.
We’ve been here 3 times, as it was very highly recommended to us. There is usually a short wait, doesn’t matter what night you go it seems. But it has always been quick to be seated, and well worth it.
We have not had their pizza yet, but the entrees we’ve tried have all been Great!

So much more than you expect.
Also, don’t let the fact that they don’t write your order down bother you, the servers have incredible memory!
My wife and I ran across this place on accident on our way back home from our anniversary vacation, and holy crap this place is awesome.
It’s kind of a hole in the wall, but the food is epic. I mean my wife ordered a fried calamari «appetizer» and they can out with a huge plate of it. This is homemade stuff too, not pre-​breaded calamari in a bag from Sysco.
Then I ordered a sub, and wife ordered a calzone. They were both gigantic!
SO MUCH GOOD FOOD.
We’re gonna need a bigger boat.
I mean box. A lot of boxes. l
Also, though they’re a pizzeria, the pizzas pale in comparison to all their other food.

Visited this restaurant one night with my boyfriend who comes here often for lunch. It was awesome! It’s very unassuming being in the Kmart shopping center, but the atmosphere inside is quite nice. They sell bottles of their sauce and salad dressing; the latter is delicious!
We shared a Greek salad that had a ton of feta on it-​yum! But they use black olives instead of kalamatta olives which I’m not a fan of. We had a MASSIVE calzone filled with ricotta, mozzarella and spinach. It was very tasty. I ordered the chicken piccata which was good, but would have been better with more lemon in my opinion.
The cannoli was excellent!
A great place for Italian in clermont and definitely one of the best restaurants in the area for good, reasonably priced food. I’ll definitely be back!
