Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

I grew up in Cleveland Hts. and found my love of comics around the corner from my house at Kovacs Comics in the mid 70’s. After becoming Northcoast Nostalgia in the 80’s, I moved a few miles away, and ended up working at Abstracts Comics in Shaker Hts. After high school (Go TIGERS!) I went to the Art Institute of Pittsburgh to learn Movie SFX. While there I kept my love of comics alive by working at Eide’s Record & Comic Store.

After my adventures in Pittsburgh I moved back to the Hts. and started working real jobs while setting up at the occasional local con selling my extra comics. I got married to my wonderful wife, Renay, and had two wonderful daughters, Becca & Megan. When opportunity finally struck, I decided to open a business doing what I love, in my childhood neighborhood. So far it has been the most fulfilling thing (besides the birth of my twin daughters) in my life.
