Mark was wonderful with my teenaged daughter who was getting her ears re-​pierced. His aftercare instructions were clear and he pierced her perfectly. I was really impressed! The price is great! They’re a really great business and the artwork displayed in the place was interesting and fun to look at.

I can’t say enough about how great Addicted is. I’ve had two tattoos done by Mark and both are true pieces of art. He is very creative, talented and devoted to his work. My latest tattoo he drew up ahead of time but when I got there and changed some of my ideas he spent 45 mins making sure it was exactly what I wanted. I never felt pressured or rushed, which is good when you’re deciding to put something permanent on your body. Mark is nothing but professional and respectful! Oh and a pretty awesome too!
Their prices are incredibly reasonable, especially for the work they do. I don’t think you’ll ever find a nicer shop. I’ve told people before it feels more like a hair salon than a tattoo shop.
It can be hard to get in depending on your artist (all of which are talented), but it’s worth the wait!

First off the place is immaculate. Nick does an outstanding job and everyone I’ve met there have been truly good people. Place has a great vibe and I recommend it to anyone.

My husband and I have been getting tattoos by Mark S. before he opened this shop. He is a phenomenal artist who takes the extra time to make sure ever single aspect of the artwork is absolutely perfect (from start to finish). We drive all the way up to Ohio to get tattooed from South Carolina because we wouldn’t trust our skin to anyone else.
The shops environment is clean, edgy, and extremely modern. The walls contain numerous pieces of handcrafted artwork to display their artists talents. Needs ideas? Don’t worry, they also have plenty of books/​posters which allow customers to build or create tattoo ideas.
As for some of the other reviews: a shop that doesn’t take walk-​in appointments or takes a while to get in the books clearly establishes the level of work the artist perform. The artist needs ample time to draw up designs and allot ample time slots so they aren’t forced to rush through pieces.

People constantly ask me where I get my work done, and the answer has always been Addicted Body Arts Studio. It is a clean and inviting space and I have only had really positive experiences there, as have all of the people I have referred. The owner, Mark, is a seasoned professional and just an overall kind and generous guy that cares about his community.
I can’t speak to all of the artists there, but I get tattooed by Mark, who has been doing my work since he was an apprentice over a decade ago. He is an amazing artist and has transformed some really bad old work I had done into beautiful new designs that I am proud to wear for the rest of my life.
The pricing isn’t cheap, but its also not expensive. You get what you pay for– professional service, gorgeous art work, and artists who are friendly and creative.
Also, remember to tip your artist! They are giving you something important that lasts a lifetime!

Total jackasses. They act like their appointment books are completely full. Granted, this is a really nice shop but skip it and go to Voodoo Monkey near West Side Market. They take walk-​in appointments and there is no attitude and pretense there.
