Just a little update: I took a starters photography class with my friend here, which consisted of two, 2hr long sessions. We each chipped in $ 75 and had an absolute blast working with Scott. He asks you exactly what you’re going to be taking pictures of and tailors his teachings to help you achieve what you’re going for. Whether you’re taking pictures as a hobby, for family memories or you’re looking to go pro, Scott can give you a great stepping stone. We left with so much more knowledge about how to not only work our cameras, but all the photography basics, all while having a blast. Aperture’s photography classes are highly recommended!

This place is the best analog camera store around! The owner is VERY knowledgable and carrying. They stock black and white, and color films, pinhole cameras, SLRs, instant cameras, Fuji, and much more! It is in the historic art district Tremont. And down the road is the Christmas Story house from the movie! After you pick yourself up a SX-70 and some film head down to University circle and take some shots! Thanks Scot!
