I have had service at two other top ranked auto repair shops in Cleveland Heights. These guys are by far the very best. They will tell me what I have wrong and what can wait to be repaired. I trust them completely.

It is true these guys will tell you only what definitely needs to be fixed and get your car back up and running at a relatively low price, but I do not trust the integrity of their work.
About 6 months ago, I had a timing belt changed by them. The morning after, my car was acting funny – I made it halfway to work before it died of a dead battery. I had to tow it back to them and arrange for a ride to/​from work. I ended up arriving 2.5 hours late to work that day missing an important meeting. I also had to leave work earlier than usual in order to make it back in time before they closed at 5:30 PM. Upon returning at the end of the day, my car seemed to be up and running just fine. The strange thing, at least to me, is that there was no mention of what went wrong, no apologies, no offers to cover the cost of towing or a rental car. Thankfully they didn’t charge me any more, but it makes me wonder, if they wouldn’t own up to this small mistake, and at least apologize for the inconvenience their negligence caused, then what else are they not owning up to?
A similar story on business ethics: A friend of mine called C&T to replace a tire and while loading his car onto the tow truck, the guy broke off his exhaust pipe. His excuse was «it was going to break anyway» and my friend was charged the full price for a new one.
I’m not saying that C&T can’t do the work, but don’t expect them to own up to their mistakes.

I had a problem with my daughters car and initially needed to have it towed somewhere to get it repaired. There was a odor of gas and subsequently a gas leak which I noticed by observing the fluid on the ground. I initially called the insurance company to utilize my free tow service, but instead they notified me that I needed to call the fire department. I’m thinking well I just don’t believe that it is necessary to call the fire department. What are they gonna do tow it for me and then then if it catches fire be there to put it out. Well, I needed a better solution, so I went to C&T Auto Repair based on a recommendation and the reviews on Unilocal.
Needless to say it was a very good experience. I gave them the information about the car, the address, the key and by mid afternoon the car was repaired and my daughter was and I were back in business. The price was very reasonable, and the customer service was simply fantastic.

Came here because they had excellent reviews on Unilocal.They did not disappoint. Had no heat in my vehicle. Turns out it was because I didn’t have enough antifreeze. They found a slow leak and brought me out into the garage to show me. They could have EASILY told me it was some other pricy fix and I would have believed it. I have definately found a new garage to take my vehicle. They have earned my trust.

I was soo worried when I discovered a nail in my tire that it would cost an arm/​leg. Having lived in Cleveland for less than 45 days I had no idea where to turn. So I turned to Unilocal and it didn’t let me down. John– the mechanic at the shop was friendly and I didn’t feel like I was getting ripped off. My tire was replaced quickly and they let me know my tires needed rotated and it was very cheap. I will def return. I recommend to anyone who needs a tire fixed or any other work for that matter.

I called C&T today because I needed some wheels swapped out. Not wheels and tires mounted and balanced, just wheels that have tires on them put on my car.
C&T Has some fantastic customer service. The guy who did the work on my car was as professional as they come. He made sure that everything was how I wanted it to be. I am extremely happy. He took the extra time to make sure he was not dinging my doors or dirtying the interior of the car. He also took the wheels out of my car for me which was really nice.
After it was done, he asked if i would like to put the wheels that came off the car back in because he did not want to get the inside of my car dirty.
I really appreciate these type of things and I will be sure to recommend C&T to anyone in the area that has a need for an auto repair facility.

Being new to the area I was unsure of where to go for service and I liked what I read on Unilocal,and now I want to make sure I can help others…
C&T was great. My schedule conflicted with the times they were open and they were able to answer my questions over the phone and I dropped my car off at night. They were able to service the car and talk to me on the phone with the options. I searched afterwards and everything they told me was legit, there explanations were easy to understand, and the prices for parts were not inflated. In addition to the repair I had the oil changed. A friendly bonus was changing the headlight bulb because I called and asked what the charge would be and since it was out they replaced it at no charge! I was impressed that they even kept my old spark plugs to show me the corrosion and build-​up. It’s a great place that seems to be family run and operated!

These guys are great. they give you fair prices — naming an actual price for the job rather than telling you it’s going to take 3 – 4 hours. they are fast too. Whether it’s a big job or a little job, or you’re dealing with them the first time or the fifth time, they are courteous.

Best auto shop in cleveland! I have been to many places that take advantage of me because I’m a girl and this place is NOT one of those. They are upfront and honest.

Towed my car at no expense. Charged me less than half what another place was charging for the same repair. Tony was very friendly and helpful, although the turnaround time was fairly slow. To be fair, my repair was fairly involved (timing chain replacement). I didn’t need the car, either, so I wasn’t calling very much.
Good service. I would definitely reccommend them to a friend.
