History

Established in 2007.

Chucklefck started as an open mic at Bela Dubby in Lakewood Ohio by Carrie Callahan. It was a mixture of comedy, poetry, music & other performance arts once a week. When Carrie moved to Chicago, Jim Tews took over the show and it became a strictly comedy show.

In 2009, Ramon Rivas began co-​hosting the show with Jim and the show started gaining a dedicated, loyal fan base. In 2010, Chucklefck began putting on shows at other venues around Cleveland, and their monthly shows at Reddstone have quickly become THE spot for amazing comedy in Cleveland. Shows at Reddstone pair some of the best national acts (such as Hannibal Buress, Neal Brennan, Nikki Glaser, Amy Schumer & more) along with local & regional talent from the midwest.

At any Chucklefck show, you may not have heard of the performers but you’re going to enjoy them immensely.
