Known for great rye bread, Russian Tea Biscuits, Coconut Bars, Chocolate Chip Cookies. On the deli side of our business Corned Beef is King. We also bake a Turkey Off the Bone which is very popular.

History

Established in 1939.

Brothers Ben, Julius, and Carl Davis founded Davis Bakery in July of 1939. The first location was in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, where the brothers did the mixing, baking and the selling.

In 2000 Joel Davis, the current President of the Company and his sister Janice, purchased the Company from the other family members to continue the legacy of providing our customers with high quality merchandise at a fair price. The Company currently has two retail stores and an ever-​growing institutional division with approximately 50 employees.

In 2007 both of Joel’s sons, Stuart and Jayson started to work for the Company. As the third generation enters the baking industry, our goal is to maintain our superior legacy and share our passion of great bakery products with people outside of the Cleveland area.
