Fight Fit

I’ve been training here for over 2 years and am still challenged every time I walk in the door. All the instructors are knowledgeable and eager to help no matter what your skill level. Other students are welcoming and supportive of one another. Not only have I gotten into the best shape of my life, but I’ve gained self-​confidence and have made some new friends along the way!

First off, let me say, I had been wanting to come here for years, but was always too nervous that I couldn’t keep up, I wasn’t ready, and a million other reasons, just to scared to try. For me, the hardest part was walking thru the door! From day one, EVERY SINGLE INSTRUCTOR has been so helpful, supportive and wonderful to me, pushing me to my limits, and helping me out of my comfort zone. The front desk staff has always been SUPER helpful. One time I thought I had lost my wallet in the snow outside, and she even went out into the snow with a flashlight to look for it for me! (I later found I had dropped it in my own yard! Ha!) As for the owner, Sarah Fox, she has been such a pilar of support. She has a way of knowing just how to encourage us all to push ourselves and «finish strong» ALL OF THE TIME! In my first 4 months training at Fight Fit, I lost 11 inches from my body! I can see muscle definition in places that has never existed before! The classes are never boring, they keep you engaged, not only physically, but mentally as well! I’m stronger, healthier, and more confident then ever, and this was all accomplished with the support of the fabulous staff at Fight Fit! Stop in and try it, you will be hooked!!! I went in thinking I might try a couple classes, and a few months later I have a community of support and have met some really great people! I honestly cannot imagine my life without everyone there!

Fight Fit is a great place to come and train no matter how old you are or what your background is. It seems intimidating at first but once you step over that hump it’s worth it.

I’m sure this could be a good opportunity for some, but I feel obligated to warn you of their horrible customer service. I showed up for a yoga class and there was no instructor. Several students and myself waited outside of the closed and locked building for 20 min and one of the students said that if the instructor doesn’t show up by now then she’s usually not coming. Why am I paying $ 80 a month and driving from lakewood to have my time and money wasted? I called their number and no one picked up. So naturally I leave a message to complain and get reimbursed. I spoke to Sarah Fox, the owner, and she was rude, condescending, and did not try to resolve the situation. All she said was that she can apologize and that I should «take it or leave it». I even asked if they could at least give us notifications if someone cancelled or if she could take 5 bucks off next months member fees for every no show class mishap. She said no. I asked if she could cancel my membership then, and she said «we don’t cancel memberships». Meaning that I would be billed for an entire year! She then asked me, «do you even want to be here?» To which I replied, «yes, very much so! I like training there and I want to keep learning. I just think that as a paying customer, if my services aren’t received then I should be reimbursed.» And she said she didn’t know what else to tell me. We hung up the phone. Then HERES THE REAL KICKER! She calls me back and leaves a voice mail stating, «you know what, I did come up with a solution for you, I’m gonna cancel your membership, I don’t think you want to be here, and we don’t want you here.» I mean WOW, first of all I thought she just told me they don’t cancel memberships? This lady would rather lose a year membership with someone instead of taking 5 bucks off the next months fees. And I just got done telling her I wanted to train there. It is clear that she doesn’t want to hold herself, her company, nor her instructors accountable for their actions. And she also clearly has poor problem solving and communication skills. I cannot believe how spiteful and immature this woman was and she is the face of that company. So go here at your own risk.

Id give it 5 stars for an awesome workout and cool fighting skills but at $ 90/​month its too pricey for me unfortunately!!! (College student)
I know it’s unlimited classes access but Id only go once a week! Boo :(
I have my son take teen classes and it’s $ 90 for 3 months of Sat morning classes.
