History

Established in 1920.

Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP started in 1920 as a partnership among a Catholic attorney, four Jewish attorneys and a Protestant attorney, and was originally named Mooney, Hahn, Loeser & Keough.

The founding partners include Michael Patrick Mooney, Judge William C. Keough, Dr. Aaron Hahn, Edgar A. Hahn, Nathan Loeser and Irwin Loeser. Monroe Loeser, a nephew of Nathan Loeser and cousin of Irwin Loeser, was the first associate of this diverse partnership.

On Friday, March 18, 1988, fire consumed Hahn Loeser’s first Cleveland office, located in the National City Building. The office was operational again by Monday.

Since then, Hahn Loeser has grown from a single office in Cleveland, Ohio to six locations throughout Ohio, Southwest Florida and Indiana. It established its Columbus office in 1989, its Akron office in 2001, its Naples office in 2005, its Fort Myers office in 2008, and its Indianapolis office in 2009.
