Honda of Cleveland

Must be nice to be the only Honda dealer in town. Went to get an oil change and they told me I would need an appointment. Ok, so let’s schedule one. Well it will be a week at the soonest before they can. I’m guessing their Express Service sign is there for laughs.

Oil change. Told them I just wanted oil change, wrote oil and tire rotation anyways! Then hubby is looking for a black Tacoma. They have a used one on the lot– went to view, got in, checked it out. Walked back to shop, no one approached to help. Shame they are missing sales.

This is by far the worst car dealer I’ve ever dealt with in all my life. I realize the manufacturer makes a lemon periodically, and it’s a given that this is beyond the control of the dealer. What they can control is the service after the bad purchase. This dealer has a well documented history of screwing up everything possible on my vehicle. I’m now on my third engine. Fortunately covered by the manufacturers power train warranty. Most of their work has to be redone before its right, takes twice as long as they predict, and magically includes a few things that they had to fix in order to fix the original problem. The General Manager will not return calls, and the one seemingly intelligent service manager, I suspect, spends most of his time apologizing to irate customers. And PLEASE, whatever you do, don’t give a salesman ANY personal information. They’ll stalk you. Even coming to my place of employment trying to get me to trade for a newer model. Creepy. This whole dealership is unprofessional from front to back. And one of the many causes for me to never purchase another Honda, ever again.

Never get your car serviced here! My wife went in to get an oil change. The service representative said we needed all this other stuff done. Magically, the car drove worse than when we brought it in. The car felt as though we were pulling a trailer, and there was noise from driving that wasn’t there before. Went back the next day and the service guy told us we needed all these different services, which didn’t happen to be the same ones they told us the day before. Not to mention, my dad went a few months ago for an oil change, checked his dipstick after the service, and they NEVER CHANGED THE OIL! Go somewhere else. This place is a rip off!!!

Will not be going back to get my service done here (on my odyssey)!!! I was told it would be an hour at the most and I was there for 3 hours with a 1-​year old in tow. I was also not told what was wrong with 1 of the 2 things I came in for. Also, although they fixed my front rotors I was told, as I was being rushed out the door, that the back ones have some heat exposure spots on them that I should have checked. Shouldn’t they have fixed those as well if that’s the case? The gentleman was not very friendly and really just tried to hush me up when I said I needed to go pick up my other child from school. You would think with all the vans they sell that they would accommodate mothers/​fathers better! I will now drive to Chattanooga for my service issues!!!
