Nothing tastes like summer like Honey Hut ice cream does! It brings back memories of visiting my grandma and is by far my favorite ice cream. The texture is a little different than your«normal» ice creams because it’s made with honey instead of sugar… how cool is that? I LOVE the chocolate peanut butter flavor as there are HUGE chunks of peanut butter in every bite. There are always great special flavors to try(my mom loves the tin roof ice cream and the red raspberry tastes fresh without being overwhelming). Overall, this is definitely a summer staple in Cleveland!

Best icecream ever not only in Ohio but costal Ga, Colorado Springs, Austin area Texas. If any other icecream shop can beat Honey Hut I wanna try them. I wish they shipped there icecream for those of us who live out of state now :(whenever I go back home to see family its always in the off season. I have gone as far as to having family bring me down some with dry ice when they visit!

I DAREANYONE to try Honey Hut ice cream against any in NE Ohio or against fancy dancy seaside places like Kilwin’s. We are food snobs and Honey Hut still does it, for a better price.

The only place I get ice cream. Take my mom up here when she comes up from Mansfied. My heart is breaking to know it’s closing soon.

Pretty good ice cream, but different. It’s made with honey, so expect a totally different taste and texture than you’re used to. I had chocolate pecan, and it had plenty of nuts, which is great. Service seemed a little testy when I was ordering(sorry I don’t know the difference between a cake come and a sugar cone, I don’t work at an ice cream shop). For me, the honey flavor just was sort of overwhelming too… It’s worth a try, but next time I’ll go to another plain sugar ice cream place.

Best ice cream shop around! Their specialty flavors never disappoint and you never have to wait too long for the staff to make the icecream! Can never go wrong with their banana icecream too

What I know about haiku you could put on the head of a very small pin. I know a lot more about ice cream. Nonetheless, here’s a lame attempt in honor of HH: Summer is ice cream And ice cream is Honey Hut Perfection is theirs

Yum! I love Honey Hut! Some of the best ice cream around, it is so creamy and has that delicious honey flavor underneath. Today I got the sea salt carmel(flavor of the day) and chocolate peanut butter in a cone. I am not recommending them together, but I was getting two flavors because I couldn’t decide on just one! Both were so good and the cone was so high that it fell over(into a cup they provided me with, don’t worry). Service was friendly and very fast. My husband got a chocolate malt, since he loves malt. This was my first time at the Parma location, we used to go to the old Brunswick one before it closed and we moved away.

Despite having a mild lactose sensitivity, I frequently get the urge for some icy cold cream. Places like Dairy Queen usually make me regret my choice to indulge when my bowels are paying me back an hour later. Honey Hut is not one of those places. Honey Hut’s ice cream is so fantastic that I would willingly endure an eternity of tummy cramping! I would describe the events that occurred in my mouth while eating my cone but I’m afraid they’d be considered pornographic. It was ’50 Shades of Grey’ in my mouth! My pocket book also didn’t hurt after visiting here as the prices were surprisingly reasonable and the portions extremely large. I got to try 4 flavors(the benefits of having chiltins to buy ice cream for). I had the Honey Pecan(holy crap it was delectible!!), my wife grabbed the mint chocolate chip(a cop-out, IMO), and the kids got Red Raspberry and Orange Blossom. Every flavor was fantastic! The location is easy to get to and there is plenty of parking and places to sit. The staff was also sufficiently friendly. It was an all-around great stop on a beautiful summer day! I can’t recommend this place enough!

When we moved into our home I didn’t realize until summer hit that I was one lucky gal. We are a block away from the most yummy ice cream around. I tend to go for the brownie sundae or the peanut butter cup sundae. Either one makes a great treat on a hot day. Honey Hut also makes a great ice cream dinner on those hot days when only ice cream will do.

I consider myself an ice cream expert. I’ve sampled local ice creams, national ice creams, homemade ice creams. I’ve done the legwork. And I can honestly say that the Honey Hut is one of, if not THE, best. I got a small chocolate peanut butter cone. I should have gone with the large. The ice cream was creamy and clearly fresh, no taste of freezer burn here. The cone was crispy and was served with two generous scoops. The chocolate was chocolatey, the peanut butter salty and delicious. Really, just perfect. I almost cried when it was gone. The woman in front of me lost one of her scoops and it was the saddest thing I’ve ever seen. I love Philly but living in Cleveland just got that much sweeter. :)

Grew up on this stuff at the Old Brooklyn location. Can’t say enough good about it. Generous amounts of ice cream in terrific flavors. Peanut butter chocolate is one of my favorites, as is the frosted malt, which is close to the ones some people will remember from May Co. Head and shoulders above most ice cream places in town.

I’ve grown up in the Parma area so Honey Hut will always be my go-to ice cream choice. While you can’t go wrong with the butter pecan, the seasonal flavors are outstanding. My favorites include the maple walnut and the honey graham.

Honey Hut makes my favorite local scream. A good friend of mine introduced me to Honey Hut back in high school. The ice cream is soooooo freaking good. Yummy! The sign says«Best Ice Cream In Cleveland» and it’s no joke!

This is the bomb for your sweet tooth — high, high quality w/a moderate price… not MacDonald’s fake, overly pumped ice milk. Old time Ice cream walk-up store. Try the Honey Walnut — home –made Big portions, nice counter folks. good summer fun. Closed after Thanksgiving.
