Jerry Kuhn’s Kwik Car Wash is a full service car wash serving Cleveland and the Southwestern suburbs. Since we’re the longest car wash in Ohio, we give you more soap, suds, waxes and sealants plus a hand dry finish to ensure no embarrassing water spots.

We clean the interior of the vehicle, as well, while other car washes ignore this. Add a fast and thorough Interior cleaning (includes vacuum, windows, light dusting of dash and drying of door jambs) completed in just a few minutes.

Looking for a little extra attention but don’t have time for a detail? We recommend the Manager’s Special. It’s our most popular package and includes on-​the-​spot attention from one of our certified Simoniz detail technicians completed in 10 minutes or less.

History

Established in 1953.

Jerry Kuhn worked at his father’s Sinclair Gas Station at 130^th and Pearl as a young boy and noticed customers not only wanted to fill up their tanks, they also wanted clean cars. Responding to this growing demand, in 1953, young Jerry, who wasn’t yet 30 years old, acquired land and opened «Kwik Auto Wash».

By 1960, Jerry Kuhn had developed quite the team to help him at the wash. Fred Carroll and Joe Dubach, who began working with Jerry while they were still in high school, helped turn the wash into a thriving business.

Jerry’s commitment to his Car Wash was on display daily for over five decades. He could always be seen with towel in hand as he dried cars and greeted customers with his usual smile and friendly «hello».

Jerry passed away in 2009 at the age of 84. Soon after, his oldest son, Jeff, purchased the wash from other family members. Jeff’s daughter Jeana and son-​in-​law Joe Coughlin are operating the wash with new enthusiasm and ideas!

Joe and Jeana (Kuhn) Coughlin joined the Kwik Car Wash team in 2011. Joe was formerly in retail operations with Cleveland’s hometown Sherwin Williams and Jeana, the granddaughter of Jerry, was a school teacher before joining the famous wash. They have three kids — Dan, Grace and Evy.
