LifeCoach Massage

After a stressful week-​long busier trip in Cleveland, I was looking for a place to treat myself to a massage. I found this place as the only 5 star rated option, and it had a deal offered so I was sold. Kim was able to give me an appointment that day. The building is beautiful, gives you a great view of a beautiful side street in Cleveland from the outside. The massage was wonderful, I felt so relaxed both mentally and physically. I only got a fifty minute one because I had to get back to business, but I would recommend going longer.

Really nice relaxing massage at a really affordable price. If you are looking for deep tissue, this may not be the place for you, but Kim did a great job making me feel welcomed and relaxed. You can tell she cares about what she does, and she was very generous with the massage time as well. Went longer than allotted time and actually have me a discount because of one minor inconvenience at the beginning. Great experience

This place is amazing. Don’t be fooled by the almost clinical look of the waiting room. Trust me, the minute you step foot in the hallway leading to the rooms, you’ll feel the difference. Kept dark in a comfortable way, your led down a hall to a room. The room that was picked for me had enough space to feel open and yet was set up in such a way that it felt cozy. A small saucer chair in the corner by the clothing rack, a curtain clad wall with plush carpets, candle lit with a soothing scent to relax the mind and senses, and the table itself, covered in silk sheets, with a heavier blanket, should it be to cold. There was also a shelf to set your purse and/​or other belongings on and a small lamp.
Kim was the woman doing my massage and I was impressed by her professional yet carefree air. Always keeping it pc, she was very up front about what she was doing and did everything in her power to make sure I was comfortable. Yes, this is her job, but none the less, she was very informative about what was in her lotion (her own blend of vitamin e and sesame seed oil) which was important to me because I’m allergic to a lot of things. She knew how the sheets were washed (no allergens there either) and she was even willing to work with you if you wanted to keep your clothing on (which, to me, defeats the effectiveness of the massage, however, it was nice to be informed.
As for the massage itself? It was great. I have had chronic back pain since I was very small and very few things have given me relief over the years. But her hands are like magic, honestly. While there were a few moments I felt pain (it had been a while since I’d had a massage and my lower backed is almost always wrecked), it always went away within a few moments of informing her and the slightest shift of her hands. What made it even better was you could almost feel the positive energy flowing off of her. This is her art. Her profession. And the best part? She was doing donation only massages that day to raise money for the victims of the tornado in Oklahoma. Overall, you could just hear in her soft toned voice that she loved what she did for a living and she loved it because she could help others through it.
And when the massage finally came to an end and I walked out of the room, I found a nice little touch waiting for me. From the room candle lit glow (and then the small lamp after), to the dimly yet slightly brighter lit hallway, out into the florescent lit waiting room, and then to the sunny outdoors, the light was actually staggered perfectly to not strain your eyes. A small touch, but something that was much appreciated by me and I’m sure many others.

Cons
Price (While I went there during a discount, her normal rate is kind of high. However, to go with the Pro section, she did inform me that her worker charges less then she does, and yet is just as good.)
…other then the clinical feel of the waiting room, which is barely a con, there just aren’t anymore.
Overall, it was a great and relaxing experience. For both the mind and the body.
I’ll definitely be going back as she definitely more then worth her full price, and I’m sure her worker is too.
