Stayed last night with my husband, since we were enroute to a funeral. Tried two other hotels but both were booked, so we decided to try here. Room seemed nice, bathroom is a tad small but that’s OK. Bed was comfortable and lady at counter was pleasant. Read others reviews on here, but did not have the same issues as them. I would stay here again.

Ended up here by happen stance. I got off exit 27 for the holiday inn. There electric was out but told us exit 25 only 3 miles down I-75 was a hotel on a hill. We stopped in and to our surprise we’d stayed there years ago. It was a holiday inn then. Dated but clean then and now. I know other reviews are bad to the bone but we did not have this experience as they did. Sure it’s dated. The cost was low and the place was clean. Cracker Barrel down the street. Hey, what’s not to like. I finish this in the morning. Goodnight. Ok, it’s breakfast time and we’re packing up to be on our way. NOBUGBITESTHATIMAWAREOF. LIKE I SAID. DATED!!! Needs an overhaul that’s for sure but hey. BIGSCREENTV. The owner is a very nice person. ENDOFSTORY. OH I WILLNOTSTAYHEREAGAIN.

Thank god it was a cheap hotel. Live spiders all over room 119. Awful because I have arachnophobia. Not enough Xanax in the world to make me stay here again. The view was horrible. The beds were terrible and you only get one pillow per bed in the double beds. Breakfast was a joke. Didn’t even bother with it. Looks old and dilapidated.

I feel it is my duty to make sure this hotel has a presence on Unilocal to warn my fellow travlers. Last June my Father’s Day present to my dad was a day of whitewater rafting. I would have been fine staying onsight but being it was father’s day and all my sister was coming along and wanted to stay in a hotel. This place looked clean and decent online and the price was good — includes breakfast for two with room rate. We arrived late and entered through the dated but nice enough looking lobby. We were given the keys to a room pretty much right above the lobby and when we went it was clear that housekeeping had not cleaned from the previous visitor, the room for the 2nd key were were given was the same situation so finally we were given a room in a different wing which had been cleaned. The bathroom was dirty looking and we found at least 4 bugs in the room — no wonder with food sitting out in other rooms for at least 24 hours. It was late and I had pre paid so we tried to ignore the bugs and go to sleep. The next day we had breakfast which was decent. I had to pay $ 9 for the 3rd breakfast plus drinks were extra — plus leave a tip for the waitress. My sister planned on going to the pool while we rafted, however it was closed which was very disappointing becuase I called to make sure it was open before booking — I booked this place for the damn pool. The«view» is meh, it’s not very high up and is blocked mostly by wires. Not management’s fault on that one but the grass is tall and full of weeds, no nice place to sit and observe the view as pictured online. It seemed that were were the only guests in our particular hall but there was a population of guests with exterior entrance rooms. These guests seemed somewhat skeetchy and were loud and drinking when we were out looking for an ice machine so suited us just fine to be away from them. Since we’re all grown adults it was ok to tough it out for the weekend but if I had children between the gross rooms and the other guests we would have left. This place is clearly a former holiday inn that has seen better days, which is a shame. Management is obviously Christian and that’s great, perhaps in the future they will pickup the cleanliness is close to Godliness mantra. As is, I wouldn’t stay again for free.
