Attorney Myers represents Ohio consumers, home owners, employees, commercial property owners, and individuals when they are wronged by construction contractors, auto repair shops, their employers, or others. When companies perform defect work, file fraudulent mechanic’s liens, try to collect money you don’t owe, or refuse to pay you for work performed, Dan Myers has been there, and has the experience and knowledge needed to guide you through the complicated litigation process.

Daniel Myers also represents homeowners in contract disputes. He represents employees who are wrongfully denied their paychecks, minimum wage, and overtime pay. He represents commercial contractors and property owners in commercial construction disputes, including construction defect, construction contract, and prompt pay disputes.

History

Established in 2012.

Attorney Daniel Myers established Myers Law, LLC because he wanted to focus his attention and skills on advocating and advising small businesses and individuals with consumer, employment, tenant, construction, and other civil disputes. He uses all tools available to his clients, including the Ohio Consumer Sales Practices Act, Home Solicitation Sales Act, Ohio Minimum Wage Law, Ohio Construction Contractor’s Prompt Pay Act, and other laws.

Prior to establishing Myers Law, Daniel Myers worked as an associate attorney at an area construction law firm, and before that represented employees involved in minimum wage, overtime, and discrimination lawsuits against their employers with the Employment Law Clinic at Cleveland-​Marshall College of Law.

Dan graduated in the top 5% of his law school class, was an editor on law review, columnist for the law school paper, and tireless advocate for the downtrodden across Ohio.

Attorney Daniel Myers learned long ago the power and importance of the law, and the huge impact that a lawyer can have for an individual or family. Daniel’s parents instilled in him a dedication to the community and to those in need. His Jesuit education helped mold him into a «man for others.»

As an attorney, Daniel Myers has protected consumers from the unfair and deceptive acts of unscrupulous businesses; he has protected small businesses from the wrongful acts of other businesses; and he has assisted the larger community in various social and societal problems, such as the counting and record keeping of Cleveland-​area rape kits and the inhumane treatment of the poor and disabled.

Daniel is recognized by other attorneys and his clients as a strong advocate, and knowledgeable counselor, and a trusted adviser.
