New Waves-A Hair & Tanning Studio

My review for New Waves comes in two parts…
FIVE STAR
Michelle and the team gave us the whole salon in the morning to get ready for my wedding — even opening the tanning rooms for extra changing rooms for my girls. They took photos of us while we were getting ready that we wouldn’t have gotten to have otherwise and made us feel so at home — even providing breakfast! When we were finished we were invited to wait in the salon until the limo showed up and didn’t feel rushed at all.
The hairstylists worked with any style we wanted and my bridal updo as well as all my bridesmaids and MOB were beautifully done and stayed in place all the way through the reception. I couldn’t have asked for a better hair team or day-​of experience.
ONE STAR
Unfortunately, I have to give their makeup services one star — two of my girls were near tears with how they looked after their makeup was applied and felt that the stylist didn’t listen to what they wanted at all. All my bridesmaids ended up taking the makeup back off and my MOH and I helped them with what I’d brought in my makeup bag while the artist gave us the stink-​eye.
The artist also sprayed hairspray in-​between the layers of the girls’ dresses to help with static and ended up leaving a huge spot on my MOH’s dress that she couldn’t get out.
OVERALL
I would say go here for hair! But do your own makeup.
