Description

History

Established in 2006.

A long time desire by Steve Hunt to have a winery was realized in March 2006. After tireless negotiations with Bradley County officials «The Ocoee Winery» and Gift Shop became the newest winery licensed in Bradley County, TN.

The Ocoee Winery and Gift Shop sit on 3 acre tract over-looking US. 64 3 miles west of Cleveland, Tennessee, and is open Monday through Sunday 12 to 8 PM, 7 days a week. Winery Tours can be done upon request or a group tour may be scheduled ahead of time.

The winery offers a variety of red and white table wines, plus many fruit wines. The «flag ship» wine is Ocoee Red, Muscadine (both red and white); Catawba, Niagara, Merlot, Blackberry, Strawberry, Apple and Blueberry are also available. Recently the Red Muscadine won a bronze metal in the Wines of the South Competition. The gift shop, Martha’s Cupboard is a menagerie of items from cheese, meats, pictures, furniture, all focused on the Appalachian theme.
