RTA Little Italy – University Circle Station

Nice addition to the area and to RTA’s network — this station replaces the E 120^th St. Station which was poorly located and in disrepair. While the station itself is a vast improvement over the E 120^th St Station, the design seems to be mostly about utility with some artistic elements such as decorative exterior lighting and terrazzo floors. There aren’t a bevy of amenities (no public restrooms) but there is an elevator for ADA access and ticket vending machines are available.
This should help improve access to University Circle and Little Italy and help relieve some of the parking crunch since people will have a great alternative to driving, just in time for the Feast of the Assumption!
