The food is amazing. The wait isn’t. This place is BUSY during lunch hours. Order early or be prepared to wait. Looks like they might be moving across the street soon.

My wife and I drove past it randomly and saw the taco truck. We got some Al Pastors, Asadas, and a Cabeza. The pastors and asada tacos had a nice crunchy texture and were splendidly seasoned. I couldn’t honestly compare a cabeza taco because it was my first time. It’s good… it’s worth trying — live a little. Let’s just put it this way… these tacos will blow your mind and your taste buds.

Yay! My first taco truck! I have eaten at the location in Chattanooga, however, I did not know they had a taco truck under the same brand in Cleveland. While attending a class in Cleveland, I happened upon this gem. I’m so glad I found it. Me and a colleague stopped and he had never been to either location. I was happy to share this wonderful taco experience with him. We were greeted by a staff member outside of the truck taking orders. There was no one in front of us, only because they are very efficient at handling customer orders. There is an awning where other people were sitting at picnic tables waiting on their orders. The lady took our order and gave us a ticket. It didn’t take very long at all for our food to be prepared. The order was accurate and the food looks delicious. Authentic Mexican tacos. Double corn tortilla with steak, cilantro, radishes, and cucumber. Oh yeah, and freshly cut lime halves. Just writing about it makes me want to eat more. The steak was flavorful and the corn tortillas were freshly made. I even had a «Mexican» Coca-Cola to wash my three steak tacos down. Great food from the taco truck-super service with a smile. Next time I get my motorcycle serviced in Cleveland I will be stopping here for a little snack. I highly recommend eating at the taco truck.

Phenomenal cuisine! Being a former San Diegan for 25 yrs, this is as close as you can get to authentic Mexican tacos!

As soon as I had my first bite, I knew this place deserved the hype. My food was tasty and fresh, delivered quickly by nice folks. There’s not much to say about the ambience as you’re eating from a food truck stationed in the parking lot of what appears to be a car dealership, but for the price and taste– it’s awesome. Great lunch spot in Cleveland, especially if you’ve just got a few minutes to eat or pick up.

Really great little find. I use Unilocal a lot when I travel, and was on the hunt for Los Gallos Tacos, which Unilocal had rated #1 for tacos in Cleveland, TN… but apparently doesn’t exist. On my way back down S. Lee Hwy I passed this little place, on a hard-to-get-to corner across from the CVS at this crazy intersection. Once I doubled back and figured out how to get into the parking lot, I was definitely hungry and hoping they were as good as the one I was initially searching for… And they were. I had three tacos: one carne asada and 2 al pastor… and then I went back for a carne asada gordita. The tacos were loaded with cilantro and onions. The gordita stuffed with cilantro, onions, tomatoes, lettuce and cotija cheese. Paired with the salsa verde that was in a big bottle on my table… DELICIOUS! I also had 2 bottled«Mexican» cokes(sugar cane, not corn syrup). All that and my bill came to $ 10… If I lived here, I’d definitely be a regular at Tacos El Cuñao.

This my first ever Food Truck visit to a permanent location with definite set hours. I have been wanting to visit this food truck for a few months since a Unilocaler added it back during the summer. I called them on phone to confirm their hours and their was a bit of understanding and comprehending of our communication. But, once arrived I looked at pictures of what they have pinned up outside their food truck and they knew what I wanted. menu items ordered: Mexican coke, steak Gordita, and chicken taco. The Gordita and taco went down quickly as it was so good as I almost inhaled them without chewing. The Mexican Coke can be found at about half of all ice cream shops between Cleveland and Chattanooga. In summary, I enjoyed my first visit to a food truck and will have to try another one soon.

I am a frequent Unilocaler and was surprised to find this place was not listed, so I added it for them and the rest of the community! This is one of VERY few authentic Mexican places to eat in our area. I have spent a lot of time in southern California, so I know what a good truck should offer and these guys hit the mark! I am in Chattanooga, so it’s not often I get to visit. If you are in Chattanooga, check out Carnitas Carmelitas on Amnicola or Taco Roc(over priced) on Lee hwy and Shallowford for a similar experience. Recommend horchata to drink, and Tacos al Pastor

Authentic. We had some language issues when ordering. But it is the real deal. The problem when we went was that they did not have beans, so hard to get a bean burrito. But what they did have was good.
