Free! Hmm…I seem to be the only reviewer of this place. And a repeat one at that. This is one of the galleries I have enjoyed visiting each time they change out the exhibit. I think its collegiate affiliation makes it stronger so that shouldn’t be a hesitation for visiting. You won’t be looking at poorly done student art. I love looking at art of all forms just for enjoyment, but this gallery twice now has shown more historical collections that you can actually learn something from. There was one on African cultures in the past. Today the exhibit«Celebrates 150 Years Of Euclid Avenue’s Greatness.» There are countless photographs with detailed directional descriptions and a few items from decades past(i.e., 1925s). If you take the time to slowly read through the photograph’s descriptions you can place a modern day image in your head and begin to find out what Cleveland used to look like. There is also a small section of modern day Cleveland photos to contrast the former. And for those of you not wanting to learn something from your art, the other half of the space is filled with beautiful contemporary art, my favorite being an image of aerial cartography.
