Jerry’s father the late great Fred Schmidt passed in 2001 and now Jerry and his son have opened a hole new world of art! We build from Bike racks made from old metal head boards to custom tables made out of scrap steel found from out of a local scrap yard… We make custom bars for windows to keep the bad guys out and we will make you geto bars if you like! My work can be seen at the Cleveland Hopkins Airport, Cleveland Clinics, University Hospital and Cleveland Veterans Hospital… Just to name a few! I teach the Handy cap at my studio in Cleveland Ohio to Metal Sculpt. WHAT A RUSH!!! I was once an Iron worker with Local 17. I stepped away 4 years ago to concentrate on my art. I’m now having my 4 year old grandson hanging out with me at my studio. He is learning to be a 4th generation Metal Sculptor! What I enjoy most is Abstract art! I can create anything from abstract Thank You!
