Great prices, service and friendly staff. We love Goffs. The variety of beers is great and staff is knowledgeable and honest. My wife went to Goffs and the employee refused to let her carry a case of beer without his help. There aren’t enough vendors like this anymore. Worth going out of your comfort zone for Goffs

My go-to spot! Great selection and knowledgeable staff! Unlike the previous post, I’m not ashamed to admit that a case of beer is heavy. I’ve never seen these dudes let a woman carry one out on her own. Such gentlemen! Thanks guys, see you again soon!

I’m short and female, so anytime heavy lifting is involved, I typically get men who are pushy about helping me. It’s aggravating. I get it, I get it. You want to get your chivalry on, but when I politely decline your assistance twice, please don’t keep pushing me. Really, I can handle a case of beer on my own. I’m not a weakling. Not the case at Goff’s. They’re very helpful, but have never been pushy with me in any sense. Even when I have accepted their help at getting the beer out to my car, they haven’t been the types of dudes who feel emasculated because the chick can hoist the case into her car. Additionally, they had a really great selection and a convenient location. The only issue is that their parking lot sucks and is pretty dangerous. It’s right off Providence Road and can be a little hairy to get out of, especially when every one of my former neighbors is pulling their beater into the parking lot to pick up their daily case of Coors Light. Ick. I wish it was set up in a way that forced you to pull around or something. They have to remember that the place is located in Clifton and a spitting distance to Folcroft, making it prime drunks on parade territory.
