Always great doing business with them and their wipers are cheaper than Midas and they don’t treat people like crap.

This location of AAP has been consistently great on the several visits I have made here. They are friendly, helpful, and quick. I have had 2 batteries (different cars) changed here over the past few years with no issues.
Note that the AAP location in Latham is not allowed to install batteries due to town restrictions on doing work in parking lots (no, this is not a joke). So, when I purchased my first battery online for pick-​up there I was informed that they could not do the install, but if I took it up to CP they could put it in. Since I did not feel like doing it myself, I brought it up per their instructions. At the CP location they said they normally only do batteries purchased there, but did the install for me anyway. Based on that experience guess where I went when my wife needed a new battery for her car?
I suggest using order online and instore pick-​up combined with discount codes when shopping at AAP for the best deals.

Advanced Auto is a pretty solid consumer auto parts store.
Good–
Generally helpful although only very partially knowledgeable staff.
Clean.
Pretty decent stock of useful parts, they had brakes in stock for my beater Subaru.
Cons–
Prices can be way up or down, use smartphone apps to check versus online so you don’t get gouged.
