Delicious– we had tofu vegetable pad tai and it was perhaps the best I have ever had– sweet, spicy, tart– all around fab. Also had a California Roll and it was as beautiful as it was tasty. The décor was modern and lovely and the staff were all very friendly. Will be back many times for sure.

Disagree with most of the reviews here on Unilocal. The name alone gives you a pretty good idea of what you might expect. The menu is a mish mosh of Asian cuisine covering Japanese, Chinese, and Thai. Make no mistake, this is not a fusion restaurant where the idea would be some creative take on the food blending these disparate cuisines. One stop shopping is the concept here. My wife and I were in the mood for Thai and as a matter of convenience we came here since we live in CP. While the capital district does not have many, there are a couple of Thai restaurants in the area that are quite good. This is definitely not one of them. To be fair, my rating relates only to the food we had which was Thai. Who knows? maybe if I went back and tried the sushi I would give this place a higher ranking. Highly unlikely. I think there are probably much better representations of these respective cuisines elsewhere in our area. Not all under one roof though except maybe for Crossgates mall.

living in NYC and having lived in Asia for many years i was not impressed by this food. it wasn’t necessarily bad but it was run of the mill American Asian food. Oh and the service was very slow. At least it was cheap.

On my way to the Albany Airport, I met my sister for lunch at Sushi Thai @ the Park in Clifton Park. This Japanese-Thai fusion restaurant is located in a strip mall along Halfmoon Parkway(Rte 9), and State Road 146. It’s also located right off the Northway, and near the Clifton Park Center. The restaurant offers a nice mix of sushi, sashimi, Thai, and Asian fusion dishes, which seemed to be very popular with the groups eating lunch, and picking up their to-go meals. The menu offers a lot of mix & match bento boxes, traditional Japanese entrées(in a smaller lunch size), Thai curries, rice & noodle dishes, tempura, teriyaki, and house specialties. They also have a full sushi bar menu with nigiri sushi, sashimi, and a wide variety of sushi rolls. I ended up ordering a Yellowtail & scallions roll, a spicy tuna roll, and miso soup for my lunch. I was a bit nervous about finding really fresh, sushi-grade seafood in a strip mall, located in the Great White North, but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of what they served me. Next time I’ll have to break down and try sashimi while my sister enjoys her chicken pad Thai and makes smirky comments about her brother eating raw fish. :-) Since Clifton Park is a bedroom-community to Albany, my sister says this restaurant can get very busy with lunchtime carry-out orders and the dinner crowd. It’s a nice place, and I’m sure that I’ll be back.

This place has been my all time favorite Asian fusion restaurant within the area. Everything ranging from the pad Thai to the dynamite sushi rolls are amazing! The food comes out in a timely manner and the servers are always around to replenish your water. I would highly recommend the Thai basil chili with beef, tom yum soup, dynamite rolls, and the Thai donuts for dessert!

I ordered some pad thai for pick up today and I couldn’t be happier with it! This is my favorite place in Clifton Park for pad thai, and it’s a great spot for take out. The prices aren’t too bad and the restaurant is always clean, also take out is very quick which is a huge plus! I’ve eaten here a few times before tonight too and I have never had a bad experience, if you’re in the area and craving some thai or sushi, give it a shot!

We had a 2.5 star experience at Sushi Thai @ the Park over the weekend, and for the sake of Unilocaling I am rounding the rating up to 3 stars. We arrived at 2:40 for a late lunch, unaware that they close the kitchen from 3−5pm. I suppose I should not have trusted the times posted on Unilocal,so that is on me. It’s hard not to feel like you’re a burden to the staff after they make it clear that they’re closing soon, so we ordered quickly and were served just as quickly in order to expedite our dining experience. Ultimately, it was not ideal to eat so much food in so little time — an avocado roll, a spicy salmon roll(that lacked any kind of spice at all), steamed shumai, popcorn chicken, and 2 lunch entrees of red and penang curry. I only really disliked the popcorn chicken, as it was extremely tough and had zero flavor. The curry was good and the portion was large for the price tag of $ 7.95. Finally, the atmosphere of the restaurant is lacking. It looked to me like it was formerly a Chinese buffet. The place is large enough to have been one. We left around 3:20, but not before I used the restroom after a cook, who very clearly did not wash her hands after using the bathroom(the door opened only seconds after the loud whoosh of the flush). That did not make me feel better after quickly scarfing a kitchen-prepped meal. I don’t think we’ll be returning, as there are so many other sushi/Thai restaurants closer to home that I love. If you choose to try them out, make note of the hours on their website, not the hours listed on Unilocal

I have ordered take-out and dined in at Sushi Thai. I am usually somewhat pleased with my meals, but not with the check. It is was too overpriced! I normally get their Pad See Eew which is basically a noodle dish with chicken and broccoli. They are normally very skimpy with the chicken and broccoli– which should not equate to a 13 dollar noodle dish. If it is going to be a 13 dollar dish, the portion should be doubled with far more chicken, broccoli and noodles. I can finish off my Pad See Eew in one sitting. That’s a problem. If I call for a take-out dish at Sushi Thai it is normally because I’m in a rush and I know the food will be ready within 10 – 15 minutes. I would be much more likely to dine there more often if the prices were lowered.

If you have any inkling of what real Thai food is supposed to taste like, you’re better off at Burger King across the street. The curry here is nothing short of «pathetic».

My go to Thai restaurant in Clifton Park. I’ve never been disappointed. I recommend their curries and sushi. Tonight, I got the tofu red curry. For $ 16, you get an extremely large portion with fresh vegetables. I’d say there’s enough for three meals.

Sushi Thai @ the Park(strange name) feels a lot like the senior’s made version of the typical Upstate NY Asian restaurant. The dining room is clean but there are no barriers so even if you’re one of two tables, which was the case all three times I went, it’s loud. You hear a LOT of kitchen noise and for some reason the TV on the wall is turned way up most of the time. The food itself is nothing to be proud of. The plates come out way hotter than the entrees, a sure sign that the microwave is the true chef. The flavor is bland and the consistency is barely a step over mush. With the absolute overload of Asian restaurants in Clifton Park alone, not to mention the surrounding areas, it’s a wonder to me this place stays open. It’s the Applebee’s of Asian dining.

This is our go to place in Clifton Park for sushi and Thai. The prices are reasonable and the portions are great! I love the Dynamite Roll and the Pad Thai! We generally order for take out and the Pad Thai ends up being two meals for me. I am always impressed with the food.

I was really excited to try new sushi. The place is very airy and clean, but because the restaurant is so open, you can hear conversations around you – it doesn’t feel very private. The food was really just okay. We ordered edamame, crab avocado salad, a lunch box and my husband got a vegetarian tofu/rice dish. The vegetarian dish came with chicken noodle soup which could not be substituted withr miso soup. My lunch box came with miso soup. I shared with my husband but THATISJUSTNONSENSICAL. The«chicken noodle soup» was gross, the ground chicken was way overcooked and tasted like nothing. Unfortunately, the miso soup was not awesome. Miso soup can be awesome… The crab avocado salad was just a large scoop crab and avocado mixed together. Next to it was spinach and shredded carrots with a bitter flavorless dressing. Boring. My lunch box had 4 pieces of california roll with sesame seeds on the outside, it was great. It had 6 pieces of fresh fish(2 tuna, 2 salmon, 2 yellowtail) and 3 pieces sushi. The freshness was JUSTOKAY, i have had much better. The vegetables tempura and dipping sauce was BLAND. I ended up ordering another california roll because it was so good — pretty surprising considering it’s the most lame roll — but the full california roll came with fish roe on the outside and not sesame seeds. CONFUSING. We also added a spicy yellowtail roll with wasn’t that great either! Disappointing to say the least. Oh, the tea – I asked if they had iced black tea. The waitress said they did. What I was brought WASNOTBLACKTEA, it was thai tea made with a powder. I happen to be a fan of thai tea made with powder but why didn’t the waitress tell me that before I ordered it?! My husband enjoyed his meal, but for $ 70 I want to LOVE my meal and I DIDNOT.

Wanted to try a new place and figured I would give this place a try. I placed an order to go and was not happy with the quality of food. I ordered the pineapple fried rice and my spouse had the drunken noodles. The Pineapple fried rice was bland and mushy. The onions, tomatoes & scallions were not cut uniformly. The tomato was cut in ½, the onions where sliced largely and the scallions were like medium size string beans. The rice was fresh but in lacked flavor and cashews. The drunken noodles were below average. He found 2 broken chicken bone bits mixed I the noodles(the sharp dangerous edge kind) and It lacked the heat factor he was looking. Overall, I will not be returning here and would not recommend this establishment. The staff seemed a bit too tall to be Thai. My quest for Thai food continues.

Last night was our first time eating here. The food is good, but other aspects could use some work. FOOD: This aspect of the restaurant is excellent. My gf and I shared spicy octopus as an appetizer. For entrees she got a red curry dish, and I got Gai Gra Prow(minced chicken with vegetables in a spicy sauce). My dish was definitely spicy, which I like, and the portion size was adequate. SERVICE: This area could have been improved. Our waitress was slow and inattentive. We had to flag her down for a drink refill. VALUE: This part is okay for dinner. I’m sure they have lunch specials that offer better bang for the buck. One thing that struck me as odd is that this place charges for soda refills. Sodas are $ 1.50 each and come in 12 oz glasses with ice, so you’re getting about 8 oz of soda. I’m baffled that in this day and age there are still places that charge for soda refills.
