Best bubble tea ever, I have had bubble tea in many places, some places it’s either too sweet or too watery in some place the bubbles at what’s or too soft, by his place is awesome … Taste, texture of bubbles is perfect. Went there everyday while I was in the area.

Well they added more bakery items and offer almost anything you would see elsewhere(except for the fruit-topped cakes). They doubled their dim sum offering and added steam buns.

Very excited to have bubble tea and dim sum spot in Clifton Park. They have a bubble tea rewards program and its a nice decent quality treat right in the middle of CP without having to travel! Pastries are good too. I’ve been back a few times and will keep going.

An OK bubble tea and asian mini-bakery/café. In addition to the normal variety of buns, they had some dim sum and congee sitting on a hot bar. The dim sum/congee was ok for what it is, but definitely not worth going out of your way for. Also had some red bean pancakes, which were pretty good. Steamed buns were just meh. I think the food was just what you would expect of cheap asian fare with minimal work put into it. Got the honeydew milk tea w/fruit jelly and almond milk tea w/boba. It came out too heavy on the flavor powder, such that I couldn’t taste any tea.

Decent and moderately priced bubble tea. The interior is quaint. One of the walls is lined with white boards where former patrons have added their works of art and you can contribute yours. On the other side is a wide selection of freshly made pastries. They have a pretty good list of options from milk teas/smoothies to jellies/bobas. I ended up getting the pineapple smoothie with yogurt filled popping boba. The drink itself was tasty and refreshing. The only reason I give this place a 3⁄5 is that the drinks are made from syrups and not fresh fruit like you would find at other bubble tea places. Nevertheless, the server was nice, the bubble tea was decent and the price was really moderate so I may come back for another visit.

Having lived in Los Angeles my entire life, I grew up with boba everywhere so when I came to upstate NY, that was one thing I had to find. This place actually knows how to sweeten their boba and you can tell that their drinks are made from actual teas and not powders. My favorite drink is milk tea, and that’s what I ordered and when I drank it, it was better than what I expected it to be! My husband and I came here just to try a drink but then we also saw that they had Chinese dim sum, so we decided to try that too. It is actually rare, even in Los Angeles, to find a place with good dim sum, and although Tea Plus didn’t have too much of a selection, they had enough to make me want to go back. Just like their drinks, you could tell that their food wasn’t something that was frozen then heated. I would recommend that you try their shrimp dumplings because those were the best that I have ever tasted. Their prices were also really reasonable and no one could argue with it. Definitely will continue to come back, even if it is a little drive away for me.

I am so excited that Clifton Park has finally gotten a Bubble Tea place! I am always really happy with the quality of their boba, and I’m known to be picky about how well that’s cooked. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is really cute. I wasn’t absolutely taken with their Thai Iced Tea, but I thoroughly enjoyed a Grapefruit Green Tea and the Original Milk Tea.

It’s so hard to find authentic Chinese food in upstate. For the price and taste, this place is great. Not to mention, the Boba tea was exceptional.

Stumbled upon this place by accident– headed to St. John’s Plaza for dinner as we pull in, we see the«Grand Opening» sign and then the magical words«Dim Sum» and«Bubble Tea». We pass on dessert at dinner, saving room for bubble tea and maybe more. The bubble tea was good, but more on that later– I notice there haven’t been many reviews on the buns and like Sir Mix-A-Lot, I’m not one to neglect nice buns. Upon seeing the bright display of buns as we walked inside, I was excited to see what kinds of buns they had. There were all the staples: pineapple, cream, red bean, custard, etc. We only got a few buns which were pretty good and we look forward to returning to try as many as we can. Granted it’s not like 85 C(for those from the west coast) but it’s a pretty good offering! Now to the bubble tea. the bubbles were pretty good consistency(‘QQ’), the tea flavor was good and not too sweet. The only thing that a bit of a bummer is they use syrup in some of the flavoring(like red bean) instead of using natural flavors. That said, very excited to see a great new place open offering good bubble tea in the Clifton Park area in a casual, cozy setting.

I’ve returned 3 more times over the past couple weeks since my first review and tried other milk tea flavors — earl gray, mango, thai iced tea. All were great, and tapioca was consistently good each time. Also, my gripe about too much sugar continued for all the flavors, but I actually asked for a bubble milk tea and specified that it not be too sweet, and it came out much better! From observing their bubble tea making procedure, I believe they add an additional sweet liquid/syrup to the powder and hot water, but they can just omit the syrup part. so don’t be afraid to ask! 4 star remains because they don’t use actual tea for their milk teas and I’m picky about my flavors, but I’m still thankful for Tea Plus in Clifton Park!

Clifton Park finally got a boba/bubble tea place. Previously, it was necessary to make the trek to Malta, Saratoga, Troy, or Albany. Now we can stay in town. Aside from the tea, this place is good for a quick dim sum snack or pastry. It’s not a venue where you would get a full sitdown meal. The inside is open with spacious seating. On the left side they have their«Happy Wall» which is a series of whiteboards and dry-erase markers where kids can doodle to their hearts’ content. It does look kind of tacky, but it’s not a major annoyance. I got a large red bean bubble tea($ 3.95), which tasted pretty good. The boba was cooked the way it should be, and thankfully there wasn’t a lot of ice in the drink. I didn’t get anything else, but everything seems reasonably priced. You can get pastries for around $ 1.00−1.25 and pieces of dim sum for $ 0.75−1.00. The service was friendly as well. Overall, Tea+ is a nice place to grab some bubble tea without the long drive.

Reasonable prices and great location(i might be biased because it’s super close to my home). I was seriously missing Bubble tea in my area until they showed up! I even went before they opened because I was so excited. To top it off, they have dim sum and pastries! Sesame balls for less than a dollar! Pork buns, red bean pancakes, pork biscuit, flower cake, and the list goes on.

If anyone who had tried milk tea from Hong Kong and enjoyed it, their milk tea will not disappoint you. The taste of their milk tea reminded me of the ones from Hong Kong and was totally on point. My Thai friend ordered a Thai Iced Tea and she said that it tasted exactly like the ones from Thailand. We did not order any pastries as we had just finished dinner. I would definitely give their pastries a try next time and recommend this place to any of my friends.

Tea Plus is open, and thankfully I remembered to visit while running errands in town. It’s a bright cheery small place, and I love the Happy Wall. Interesting to note that the same owner of Will’s Nails down Route 9 owns this place! It’s a bit surprising to see people I used to see do my nails now giving me boba tea… But let’s talk about the boba tea… I typically get taro boba milk tea as my standard. Crushed that when I ordered it they were out of boba! They had fruit jellies and pop boba, which don’t go well with taro, so I switched to a mango milk tea. Decided to try pop boba with it… It was watery, but mango tart and the pop boba was fun to eat! They’re more delicate than regular boba, and explode with tart yogurt. It was cool, but not really what I wanted out of a boba tea. Didn’t try the dim sum or pastries. Hopefully as the weeks go on, they get their mojo and I’ll try again for that taro boba milk tea!

Opening day jitters/issues? I went opening night this past Saturday and was disappointed. I was looking forward to this new tea place in St. John’s plaza. Every time I visited Kebab Masala just a few doors down, I took looks in the window to see the progress. The black bubble tea was overwhelming sugary. Yes, bubble tea is supposed to be sweet and decadent. However, it was poorly made. Then, the boba. The centers were still hard making them hard to enjoy and chew. The killer was the coconut bun I received. It was fresh, the day before I started to eat it. I couldn’t finish it. The silver linings? The ice to drink ratio was spot on. There is no minimum for using credit card. There is a dim sum menu. The price point is ideal– medium is $ 3.00 and a large is 3.95. The space is nice and bright and it can be a great addition to Clifton Park and the surrounding areas. However, décor and prices can’t save the tea I had. I’m willing to give Tea Plus another try before it’s subtracted out of my radar. Update coming soon.
