Best Western Grande River Inn & Suites

Stayed here while road tripping to Chicago. This neighborhood felt a bit rough. Definitely the rougher, more economically depressed side of grand junction. The hotel was motel style with darker, less-​updated rooms, however the sheets and bed felt clean and the hotel was quiet at night. We stayed here here because it was cheap and dog friendly, but I don’t think I’d stay here again.

We booked this hotel for four nights. Great decision! We loved everything about it.
Very nice lobby area — spacious and inviting. Cold water, snacks and coffee are always there for you. Adjacent is a large courtyard which most of the rooms face. The breakfast area is clean and has plenty of room — and there’s a separate room with tables to sit at, as well as a few tables in the courtyard. The common areas and the very friendly staff all make you feel at home here.
Our room was a standard king, but I think it’s called a mini-​suite. It was large and spotless. Wifi worked very well, there’s a fridge, microwave, single-​cup coffee maker, blow dryer, alarm clock, 32″ flat-​screen TV, iron and board and lots of outlets to plug into. Our room had a nice upholstered chair and ottoman as well as a desk and swivel chair. The mattress was firm and comfortable and the room was very quiet.
Breakfast is the good kind — lots of hot items from oatmeal to scrambled eggs and sausage and biscuits and gravy. Cold cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit and great muffins. The coffee was better than I expected — actually pretty good.
Housekeeping did a great job every day, there’s an indoor pool and hot tub and a workout-​room.
When we return to the area, I can’t imagine staying anyplace else.

Really pleasant stay at this hotel!
I loved the courtyard, it gave the hotel a really homey and peaceful feeling. There were also a couple other sitting areas that were nice touches as well.
Very spacious, open lobby overlooking the courtyard, and upon check-​in there are cool refreshing drinks and snacks to welcome you as well as the cheerful staff.
The room was comfortable as was the bed and I slept like a queen!
Nice to have access to decent gas stations and a great little shopping center and some nearby eateries too.
This hotel is a wonderful gem of a stop along the highway!

Very very nice hotel! Swam in the pool before I went to bed and before we checked out. Very comfortable beds and I actually relaxed. You have access to a shopping center across the street so it’s really convenient to get dinner. Would defiantly stay here again.
Oh and their coffee was good!!! I find this rare for a hotel.
