I guess not bad for the island. Went in here for lunch time, the girls was very helpful at buffet. We ordered and sat down. There was no lunch specials which I thought was weird, food was ok nothing special, and over priced for basic small chicken soup rice and pollo gusiado.

The owner here is very nice its directly across from Stapleton projects an there’s a bus stop right in front so you may catch a crowd in front but they really don’t bother just mind your business lol nice decent parking on the rear. This is a buffet seat your self type of restaurant which you have an apt ion to order off the menu as well if your not interested in the food made already. The also serve breakfast which is very delicious. The food is decent«for Staten Island» it’s definitely not the best Spanish food I’ve had but it’s great for the island which is limited to authentic Spanish flavor food so I say this no disrespect to Staten Island. Today’s sit down experience was simple, a few dollars over priced from what I’m use to in other Spanish spots. No big deal!!! today my chicken gusido had so much slimy skin I couldn’t enjoy it to my full advantage. Soup was a bit cold, Weird I no bc it is in a hot buffet setting. Not sure where that went wrong. Beautiful buffet everything looks so amazing an fresh, when you come an if you come in starving you want to order everything. The desert is good I enjoyed flan an the Dominican cake in the past. Not the worst an not the greatest it’s decent food. Servers are very nice as well as the cashier. It’s a huge place you can even have an event here in the right side room when walking in. Very clean all around an all the severs have nets on there heads an gloves(A+) I’m a huge fan of elephants an there’s elephant figures all over I love it. It used to be a Chinese buffet spot a few years back. One day asked about the elephants an they had said it came when they took over the business an converted to Spanish food. Cute place I’ll be back for a quickie here an there I’m a Regular for the coffee an breakfast delivery.

When walking in to the restaurant there is a sign saying seat your self, which is fine by me until 20 minutes past by and no one even brought me a menu. I stayed only because I had herd such great things about this place, boy did my friends lie. When I finally got a menu and attempted to place an order they didn’t have half of the things on the menu. Eventually my fiancé got a t-bone steak with white rice and beans, I ordered there beef stew with white rice and sweet plantains. The sweet plantains and the beans came out ICECOLD and when we brought this to the waitress attention she said she could microwave them… WFT? The beef stew was vinegarie, and bland. The meat was tough, and just gross. The only bright side was that it wasn’t salty. My fiancé steack, which was ordered well done, came out extremely bloody and also wasn’t seasoned. I ended up not eating my food and would never come back here again. In all fairness I lived in Washington hights for 3 years and I truly love good Spanish food, so I set the bar pretty high, but I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Even though food is good. They ALWAYS get my food wrong for delivery. Takes way too long up to 2 hrs. Definitely not worth the wait. We’ve decided to no longer order from them. The neighborhood there in is not worth the hassle to go to them.

Not from the area, but saw this place and thought we would chance it. It was a chance well taken! Authentic, delicious, «con sabor», clean, great service, polite and helpful staff… Just a few words to describe it. And the food … Wow! Everything we had was delicious. Topped it off with a «tres leche«. YUMMY

Food is delicious. We go here when we want to have a great Spanish sit down dinner. The decorations of the place is not that appealing, but that’s not what you are there for. Just warning place is next to projects but the food is great!

Really enjoy the food everytime I go there or order. Their empanadas are everything. Disappointing at times when I order and they ran our of something. But besides that no complaints

Amazing food. Great variety every day and you can also order from the menu. Friendly and polite staff. Always making sure that your experience here is a good one. I’m a regular and they even know how I like my coffee and always bring it to the table at the right time. The whole restaurant is always spotless. Campo Bello feels like going home.

Lots of variety here! Be prepared to overstuff yourself! Haha. I like how their foods are all laid out for you to see what you want to order. Plus you can see how fresh they are! Once you eat here once, you would always want to come back and try their other foods! I come in here always getting either the yellow rice, or bean with rice then either some crab salad, beef stew, grilled chicken, and/or pork are all amazing! Didn’t think the island would have such decent food right? But your wrong! Also must try their cream milk cake! You can’t leave here without dessert! It’s taste so smooth and creamy! It glides right into your mouth! Such satisfying food!

I absolutely love this place! It is one if the better Spanish places on the island. Everything is always fresh and taste similar to what my grandma used to make. It might not have all the seasoning she put in it, but it’s close enough. Besides I don’t have to make it. Their pastels, empanadas, flan. I love their mangu or mango(not sure how you spell it) anyway, you can get it all here here! It’s a bit out the way from where I love, but when I’m in the mood I come here. The prices are very reasonable, so I don’t mind the ride.

Perhaps it was a bad day but I found their food to be incredibly bland. I did not enjoy it at all. Will not be back.

Wow. It’s all I can say. Ate here the other day with the family and ordered the Roast Pork with beans and white rice. Heavenly. My son got the French fries with the chicken nuggets(not fair to call them nuggets, they were so much more) and he actually ate all his food which is rare. This place is a diamond in the rough — great prices and delicious food. The reason I’m writing this update is that this is the first time I’ve had the Tres Leches cake. OMG! Seriously, I had to go back the next day and get some just to go, it was that good. It was sitting in this amazing sauce and it was moist and decadent and sweet… oh yeah, you get the picture. It was a thing to be relished, no lie.

Sit down or take out from the buffet. Get the Tres Leches Cake, consume, and die of happiness. That’s ALL you need to know.

excellent Spanish food served cafeteria style almost– if you’re eating in you just point to what you want, have a seat, then they bring it to you on a cart. friendly staff, my only thing is the location– its not in the nicest part of staten island, i always wonder if my cars gonna have all 4 windows intact when i return to it. also, i went for dinner once and its def not as fresh and delicious than lunch time. i’m pretty sure it just sits out on the heating table all day. definitely recommend lunch though!
