I won’t waste time writing all the negatives. But i am never coming here again. P. S. The greeters are rude.

Buffets can be hit or miss but the couple times I have been here have been a hit! They have a very large selection of food and they seem pretty busy which means the food is being turned over. They provide each table with a bowl to put your scraps in. Other places you need to grab a second plate for shells or bones. They are located in a strip mall so plenty of parking. Staff was very attentive with drink refills.

La comida está buena, un poco cara se supone que usted puede comer lo que quiera pero apenas termina el primer plato ya le traen la factura sin usted haberla pedido como«corriéndolo» jaja

I was happy to come here, really was. I don’t know what my niece was talking about, or my nephew, rather, because this place missed on so many levels. The mashed p, plantains, nuggets was fine. I’m more into American food, less into Chinese and even less into sushi. The dessert was terrible! Brownies tasted like mint! I tried 2 more desserts and it was the same, sugarless crap. The taco meat was spicy as my son said. Overall-I would recommend it because the amount of food available, seating, ability to pay and not being rushed, but the quality of the food lacked.

Great food and affordable price. Fresh and well prepared. Friendly staff. The number one buffet place for my family pick.

Typical food like most buffets. The price is very reasonable. What I usually enjoy is their steamed flounder which has a small hint of butter… what can I say? It’s healthy and very very good. I eat a lot of flounder here, Im sure if I would go to a restaurant it would cost me triple for all the fish that I eat. But the rest, typical.

Well, sometimes things can skid off track and, after my flinitial review of this spot in 2011, it’s happened here. When it initially changed names and ownership, the best foot was put forward. It’s still there, but with so many of these places popping up, all pretty cheap, they really have to raise the bar higher. This time around, the sushi must have been made by a visually impaired employee; the pieces were at least two inches thick and filled with mostly overcooked sushi rice. The California roll 5 ways was the theme, lacking in variety. A hibachi station would benefit this place, but for now it only has a grill. Nothing for us there, mostly meat and chicken. Dinner or a Friday ran us over 30 for 2 of us. A bit on the higher end for the selection which, if you’ve been able to try similar places around here, separates them greatly. Middle of the road for these guys.

Worst buffet ever! We were charged full price for dinner and as soon as we sat down they took the steaks and crab legs away. I was under the impression that dinner prices are higher because of those two items. We paid close to $ 70 for four people for normal shitty Chinese food I could have ordered for no more than $ 30 from the Chinese restaurant by my house. First and last time ever! The manager is super rude too, no reason to support his business being an asshole.

I enjoy this buffet once in awhile because they serve tacos as well as Chinese cuisine. I do not like being watched when I eat. The staff stand around and watch the customers eat. It is as if there is one waiter or waitress assigned to observe each table. I feel like I am an alien on display. It also makes me feel the buffet staff is worried about not getting paid enough, paid anything, or tipped. The buffet staff should be taught an American etiquette course in «Thou Shall Not Watch Customers Eat». It is very rude to watch people eating. I also think it looks desperate that last time I went here around February 2015 that the buffet staff was selling fortune cookies on the side of my table as well as making repeated trips by my group members tables who I came with offering fortune cookies for more money. Several times the food has tasted stale and recycled. I stopped coming here awhile because of the stale food and no tacos on one visit. It is best to come when the place is not empty because the food is fresher.

I would give it a negative star if I could. The manager was very mean, I asked him a simple question and didn’t even bother to answer, he looked at me and said no moving his head. The flood was very poor quality, never going back again.

Took my family of four last night for dinner. Food and service was good. It is typical buffet food. They did have king crab legs. Would recommend.

The food is mediocre, and the service is a little pushy, and stalkerish… Idk I’m only here because I was outnumbered, I didn’t eat, last time the food wasn’t good. Didn’t want to try it again. Not worth it in my opinion.

I came once… had a bad experience. Decided to try again… bad experience. My third go was this past friday. Went with a party of four, we all had one plate each, and all of a sudden the server comes in with the bill and stands their waiting until we pay. She literally folds her arms, takes one step back, and WAITS. For a party of 4 people, we paid $ 65. NOT including tip. Very overpriced, and horrible experience. Third time was the charm, am not coming back.

The food was standard take out fare. The seafood dishes I used to like there were almost non-existent.No snow crab legs, no manila clams in black bean sauce either, no one was at the grill area for the first 40 minutes I was there. The sushi was good, they had good tuna, eel, avocado rolls and some innovative stuff with capelin roe. The fried breaded shrimp were raw inside. I came with a large party and the owner tried to add on more people and added 1 drink per person even though I had brought wine(and the disdain was evident by my server who brought coffee mugs) and only half the group ordered drinks. There are friendlier competitors who don’t mind NJ’s BYOB policy.

I used to love this place and the food & low prices. As of late as many more buffets have opened in the area, this buffet starts cutting back their selection of sea food and starts raising their prices instead of trying to be better than the rest. Also as business has decreased the owner at the front counter has developed a very hostile attitude when she takes your money. She seems mad that you don’t come to her buffet as much, and maybe going to her competition instead. Keep raising the prices and giving attitude and you’ll never see me again!

Came here on a Sunday around 1−2pm. It was just starting to fill up and became really busy by 3−4pm. The food was nothing but your typical Chinese buffet delicacies. Although, I was intrigued by their sushi selection— it was really good! I mostly gravitated towards that, the calamari, and string beans— my usually selections. I was disappointed, however, that they didn’t have my favorite, coconut/walnut shrimp. Not as big a selection as other buffets I’ve been to, but it was still good nonetheless. My mom enjoyed the crab; she barely used the shell cracker our waitress gave her. On that note, the staff was very nice. Instead of having to be tracked down so we can get service, they picked up our used plates quickly and asked to refill our drinks. The waitress gave my mom the shell cracker without even having to be asked. I was very impressed. I especially pay attention to little gestures like that. The place was clean and pleasant. Overall, I enjoyed my first experience and would definitely come here again.

The food is good for the price you pay is not cheap. You better go early because they will charge you more if its late. The service is really bad, the waitress are always in a hurry for take out your plate from the table even you don’t finish it. But the worse thing is the cashier so rude, no manners. I went to talk to her because the bill was split between my daughter and me and they said her card was decline so I paid the entire bill. At the same time my daughter was checking her bank account and she show me that she had enough balance. This cashier don’t want to listen any reason, like you are no talking to her. In a bad mood she said You don’t have to show me your account and com back on Tuesday if your money don’t appear in your account. She also stated I will be here Saturday and Sunday” so I paid the entire check plus they charge my daughter also 19 dollars more. Don’t go there if you are hungry to somewhere else

The quality and selection of food has declined of late. They have definitely fallen victim to inflation. There are no more snow crab legs! I know they are expensive, and people just cover their plates with them, but I wish rather than taking them away entirely, they had made it so each dinner comes with a voucher which can be redeemed for 5 or 6. The rest of the food is still Chinese take-out type fare. You can read my previous review for an itemized list, but none of it is quite as good as it used to be. I used to think this place was pretty good. Now, it’s just another buffet.

This buffet is your very typical Chinese buffet. Nothing special but its to the point; a variety of choices at a good price. I have to say though, many other Chinese buffets are just as expensive, or even more pricier, but Clifton Buffet has more bang for your buck. For it’s cheap price, having crab legs for dinner is a plus! As for the other selections of food, you will find all the American-Chinese food favorites, your chicken and broccoli, spare ribs, and general tso’s chicken are all here. Service is attentive enough and I have not seen this place dirty, so the price is well worth it. None of the food though is too special in my opinion, this place is suffice for me when I am looking for a cheap fix on eating tons of food.
