NJ Diet

I am forever grateful for hearing the NJ diet segment on the radio about a year ago. I’m a 24 year old female with severe endocrine imbalances and diseases that caused me to gain a tremendous amount of weight. I’ve tried everything from pre packaged foods, nutritionists, bariatric procedures and tons of exercise and I just couldn’t lose the weight. I decided to try nj diet because it was a money back guarantee and I had literally nothing to lose. I’ve been to both NYC and Long Island locations and both offices are great. The staff is super friendly, knowledgable and answered all my questions. When I was told what I would be eating for 40 days, I knew it was going to be manageable, but hard work.
I must say that the 40 days went by so fast and I was able to live my life while dieting and not feel deprived because the results are incredible. I lost 28 pounds in 40 days. I defeated the odds of my endocrine problems and diseases and for once, I was able to lose weight.
A special shout out to Dr. T who has literally saved my life for giving me these life long tools to succeed. He replies to all questions I ask in minutes. I can be in the supermarket and ask him a question and I will know right then if I am making the right choice with what I buy. He has been my cheerleader and has been super motivating and helps me calm down when I needed more support
The greatest thing about this plan, after your 40 days are done; you have a specific plan of how to keep the weight off. I’ve completed one round and have another one or two rounds to go
I highly recommend this diet and it is WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY!

1 year later and still holding at my set weight! It hasn’t been easy, but it is possible! The holidays were tough– no doubt had moments of weakness & ate too much ‘junk’ at times, but for me, the keys to maintaining have been: weigh yourself everyday, log my food intake everyday, use the ‘reset’ diet options from Dr. T & be sure to drink lots of water.

Your going to pay 27 $ for a 10min presentation that starts late then 10min in person with the Dr. If you do the consultation know that you’re going to be told some medical info. Just remember any advice, recommendations or ideas that come from an organization that is going to profit from you is suspect. I don’t care how good the diet may or may not be. A free consult would give them a little more credibility. This consult is advertised as a 99 $ value, it’s not even a 27 $ value.
The rooms are all appointed with chiropractic posters. Which was strange. The lobby is full of stevia, water bottles and gift boxes of supplements.
Your gong to pay about 2000 $ for this diet. The payment plans are either all at once or pay half or pay in thirds.
My opinion…
Join a gym, research healthy diets and buy cheaper supplements
In other words planet fitness, weight watchers and GNC. A LOT CHEAPER
I decided to stick with my plan.

I went to see these people but almost two thousand dollars for a diet is way too much. I’m sure it’s to pay for all their advertising.
In response to the «doctor’s» reply, the quote to be exact was Nineteen Hundred Dollars and not any less!!! There were no saliva or hair tests only some sort of scale weigh in when this price was quoted. BTW, these people are chiropractors, not MD’s.

here is a a profile my 40 day journey; I weigh 246 and have spent 10X losing the same 10 – 15. Sad to say, knowing how much I had to lose, i lost all motivation. A co-worker’s wife just went through this diet and had lost 20 lbs (she went from 135 to 115; now down to 105). I just pictured how much my life would change if I lost 30 (if she can lose 20 at 135 lbs, I should easily be able to lose 30 lbs starting at 246, right?)

I must say this is one of the most legit weight loss programs I’ve ever been on. I’ve spent the better part of my later 20’s trying to lose weight and look great. I would kill myself in the gym everyday to only lose 2lbs a week, which is good but not enough. When I discovered NJ Diet I was a bit skeptical because how is it possible to lose all that weight in a short amount of time. The staff and Dr. T are absolutely amazing. I’m on day 33 and have lost 32lbs and can’t believe the change I have desired for years has taken place in a month! I will say this diet is very difficult but the rewards are well worth the effort. The energy I have based on my supplements and diet is amazing. I feel great.
Still more time to complete but so far this diet is a rebirth.

Admittedly, I was a bit skeptical when I initially heard the pitch, but as there was a «lose 20 pounds in 21 days» money back guarantee, I recognized I had nothing to lose… other than the weight, of course. I am now a believer, and an evangelist for the NJ Diet.
I’ve extended my 40 days to 60, and am now on day 47, having lost over 40 pounds with 13 more days to go. This plan works like a miraculous dream, in that I didn’t believe it was possible to lose almost a pound per day of almost entirely fat, and yet… this is what has been happening.
As Shane P. and others have pointed out, the plan takes discipline, and it’s not inexpensive, but it is absolutely worth it. Especially when one considers how much most of us ultimately end up spending on numerous plans and gadgets that fail.
When combining the amount of money spent on disappointments in just one year, I’m confident that NJ Diet costs less than that, and you successfully lose an ENORMOUS amount of weight in just over a single month. I’ve truly never seen anything like it.
Add to that the personal investment Dr. Turovets and his staff make in your success, and it is my contention there should be a line out the door. Seriously.
If you’re serious about wanting to lose weight, and want to shock your family and friends (in a positive way), THIS is, hands down, the BEST system on the market.
By the way, I cannot overemphasize the «shock your family and friends» part. It really is uncanny.

I just finished my 40^th day. In 40 days I lost 30lbs. I went from 254lbs to 224lbs. The diet is good in that it gives you a wakeup call as to how sugar, oil, and butter can negatively impact your life. Being on this diet, made me go out and buy ceramic pans. No more, cooking with oil, or butter, or pam. That in and of itself made a difference. I’m not saying it’s easy to give up bread, or your normal salad dressings, or potatoes, or be restricted to a much lower number of calories than you’re accustomed, but when it’s between that and being able to tie your shoes, or getting into your clothes. you gotta bite the bullet. Now the cons: It’s expensive, and when you first go to see them there is a bit of a hard sell. No one likes a hard sell. They go so far as to put a piece of paper over the price, when they are outlining it, cause they know there’s going to be sticker shock. I was lucky at the time that I had the money, and looking back on it, I’m probably ok with having spent that much with what I’ve been able to do, and what I’ve learned. I’ve given a review of 3 stars because yes, I was successful, but that hard sell, made it a little uncomfortable. The other reason I’m giving it 3 stars is that when you listen to their show on the radio, the diet comes across as a little easier than it actually is. You have to really be disciplined to get through it. Bottom line, would I recommend it? Yes, but be prepared.

Advertisements lead you (deceptively) to believe you will receive an initial body scan– even their ad states «we will use our medical body analysis scan to pre-​test your current condition» LIARS, they use a scale to weigh you and provide generic markers. In addition, they are NOT STAFFED by MD’s. Fraudulent and misleading to say the least– whether the program works– I don’t know– THEY LIE AND MISLED FROM THE START. BUYER BEWARE — They want your $ 1900 right from the get go.

«Skeptical» does not begin to describe my first meeting with Dr. T. and staff. I am now better than 30 days into the diet, and I am a strong believer. I have lost close to 30 lbs, I have done it while maintaining my busy work schedule which includes a lot of travel. I think an important key to my success was access to Dr. T. via cell and text. Extremely accessible and very helpful. Couldn’t have done it without that. Get ready to go shopping! You’ll need a lot of new clothes.

Ok if you want to lose 20lbs to 40lbs within 40 days, it is possible. I lost 33lbs and my husband lost 27. BUYER BEWARE. If you have to lose more, then be prepared to PAY. Find out what you can expect to pay to get to your goal weight. When I signed up for the program, I was 263.2lbs and 53 years old. I was told that I was operating at the wellness level of a 90 yr old. As I lost weight I gradated to the wellness level of a 70 yr old according to the ‘doctor’. I was shown a paper his office generated with graphs and pretty colors and technical info that indicated I should be 139lbs, and truthfully that seemed about right. I was told that this program cost less per pound than the top 3 weightloss programs. Well, my husband and I lost a total of 60lbs combined which came out to $ 63.23 per lb. The top 3 programs he mentioned are Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers and Nutrisystem. My husband and I in the past were on all three throughout the years and a 33lbs weightloss for me cost way less than $ 63.23 per lb. We paid $ 3,794.00 At no point prior to signing up for this program was it stated, written, discussed or even suggested that we would have to pay again for the program to lose the weight that was indicated to us during the consultation. In order to make that perfectly clear, it would require that a document state what the EXACT FINANCIAL AMOUNT WOULD BE TO BRING US TO THE WEIGHTS INDICATED ON THE PAPERWORK REFERENCED DURING THE SALES PITCH (consultation). Well it did not. It would be wise for you to look thru all the material in their workbooks because that is were our confusion was fostered.
The contract letter head indicates that this is a 40 day program, but the manuals they provide AFTER YOU SIGN UP indicate that there are 6 phases. Phases 1 – 3 are for 40 days, then you enter Phase 4 RESET PHASE which is day 44, than then Phase 5 the RE-​ENTRY PHASE for 65 thru 85, finally PHASE 6 REMAIN THIN starting DAY 86 which is for life LONG HABITS. Hmmm, what is supposed to be 40 days and 3 phases is actually 6 phases. I was told I had to do another go round that would cost me $ 850.00 just for myself and if I tried to do this diet on my own without their suppliments, I could pass out. Pass out? Why should I pass out on a HEALTHY diet? When my husband I and met with the doctor who is not an MD according to the paperwork we have, he referenced a page showing the costs of the top three weightloss programs which he had not shown us during the ‘consultation’. If he had, it would have set off a red flag and prompt me to ask about what this was going to cost in total. We interpreted something entirely different from what we were presented. I guess its all in the presentation that overwhelmed us with more information that could be digested in such a manner of time. While we were having our hands scanned for our body information (yes some real nifty scans that tells us what we our bodies are all about with hormonal levels and such, we were not permitted to talk. Apparently speaking while your hand is being scanned will throw off the balance of the universe.
I did some research and found that some of the Premier Research Labs supplements I was given are available on Amazon. This program also provides an HCG signature that helps with appetite control and other nifty things and guess what? I found HCG on the web. There is a similar diet for 500 calories which is on the web that also provides a support network. It is called the HCG diet and that website is
and it costs a mere fraction of the $ 3,794.00 we spent. It would seem we spent way more money to do this diet in a clinical setting. All the while a similar and yet successful diet (the HCG diet) can be done without all the excessive expense. There is more info on HCG too and I wish I had known about it Sometimes, you gotta love the internet for research. You see boys and girls, it’s all in the sales pitch. DO NOT let yourself be rushed according to someone else’s consultation /​sales pitch time frame, do your research and ask every question to make sure there is no misunderstanding. I am now doing this diet on my own without the supplements I have been able to by on Amazon, Overstock and yes HCG. I am losing weight, feeling great and I turns out I never needed this overpriced ‘program’ in the first place.

Few businesses let alone diet centers come close to giving you what they promise. NJ Diet is an uncommon business they give you MORE then they promise. They said I would lose 20 — 40 lbs. guaranteed in 40 days I lost more, then 40 lbs. I did it twice & lost 77lbs. they said I would not be hungry I never was, they said I would have more energy I did lots of it. The staff is very caring and can be reached if you need help while on the program. I tried EVERYTHING out there and was seriously considering lap band surgery. Don’t have to anymore just a few more pounds & I will be the WIEGHT I was in High School & I am just about to turn 56. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROGRAM especially for people who have a VERY hard time losing weight or can do little or no exercise or have health issues. I recommended this program to a friend who just started he already lost 9 lbs. and his blood sugar is perfect he doesn’t need medication anymore. Honestly for what you pay for the program it is steal to get your life and health back! I have always been a strong disciplined man but my body did not portray that now it does.
