I went to Sally’s today. I had a great helper from a young brunette. When I went. To check out i dealt with a nasty fake blonde chick. Rude, not smiling. Just an mean person. Be happy to be working. Get over yourself

Today was the very first time I found a nasty, rude and unhelpful clerk there! This lady, Briggite(or something similar since her id was not visible) felt«obliged» to answer and when she did it was in a very rude manner. I had a coupon I was planning to use to buy an electric shaver and a curler but honestly it’s not nice to go to a shop and feel they are doing you a big favor, specially when you are paying

This location is extremely small & the staff is unknowledgeable about hair. I think that anyone working in a sales postion should be knowledgable of all products within the store. The hair section is extremely small so there’s not much variety for extensions. I asked the sales associate the difference between two products and she just looked at me blankly. I asked a different question where she proceeded to tell me I was wrong. If you don’t know something don’t be so adamant that you’re right. I explained to her she was incorrect because in fact the store carries products that are«human hair blend» &100% human hair. She finally realized I was right & said she couldn’t really answer my question. Ugh, whatev lady! They have a discount card that cost $ 5. How am I saving money if you’re charging me in order to save?! I’m beyond confused.

Terrible, terrible staff The owner of this store should come undercover to checkout the staff. I came with my 7-yr old daughter to ask about frizz control products used at salons. Amanda, one of the staff, blurted out ‘Of course, I don’t know which brand your salon is using’ and continued to make sarcastic remarks. It was evident that she was in a bad mood. Her behavior is inappropriate in front of small children. It is damaging the franchise and the business. It was really disappointing since Sally carries good quality products.

Sally’s is a fantastic place for hair products. For many years, I purchased all my hair dye here, also supplies, hair styling tools, hair treatments, etc. They have normal hair dye colors and more funky colors and they carry Manic Panic dyes. They sell specialty shampoos and conditioners too. Some hair extensions. Also nail polish, manicure supplies, fake eyelashes, etc. Some make-up. Although I wouldn’t come here specifically for make-up. Sally’s is the place to go for salon quality hair products. I remember I spent a fortune on a salon dyejob that went awry, spent more to fix it which didn’t even work out and then said EFFYOU I am going to Sally’s and doing it myself. And you know what? I got my results for much less $. You have to mix the dye with developer which you buy separately(you’d mix it with the box dye too, it’s just all packaged in one box) but it’s supposedly better for your hair to avoid box dyes(or so I am told). They sell L’oreal Excellence HiColor for dark hair here which is awesome and the only reason I was able to turn my dark brown hair into firetruck red without bleaching. Just do your research and talk to people if you are completely new to dying your hair. Staff is OK, available to answer your questions and are fairly knowledgeable. I have not been to other Sally’s locations so I can’t compare, but I am satisfied with this one. Not sure if they still do this but they used to give $ 5 credit if you bring your used hair tools in. They also have a weekly circular and offer discounts, coupons and offers. You can get a Club Card here and a Pro Club Card if you work in the beauty industry.
