Boycott this station. They suck on many levels.

Very rude owners. It’s damn rude when you’re pumping gas, and all of a sudden ALL the lights AND the PUMPS are turned OFF! You’re standing there with the pump still in the car, with no gas flowing into your car, in total complete darkness. Who the f*ck does that? So absolutely rude! And it’s not even 10:00 pm yet! It’s 7 min till closing. This is not the first incident either.

The attendants are rude and there is no such thing as customer service here. The people who work here make me feel like they don’t care and don’t want my business. Will not be back.

They used to be great but someone else took over about six months ago. I brought my car in for brake problems and they said the tires had been overinflated the last time I got my oil changed, and this was causing my problem. *They* had changed it. I took it somewhere else and it was a completely different problem, and the fix was much cheaper. Then I reluctantly came back here because it’s convenient for state inspection and my car was dented while it was here. I don’t know if it’s their fault but after the previous bad experience I’m definitely not coming back for gas or anything. It’s not worth the risk.
I really liked the previous owner/​mechanic. He was honest and did a great job with my car every time. But unfortunately he’s not here and they are completely different. Disregard any old positive reviews. RIP.

I had the exact same service that I had done at the Newgate Sunoco, and Shell charged 65% more. Now I’m questioning whether I needed to empty my savings account to pay for the repairs they said I «needed» last year. I will never go here again. Go to the Newgate Sunoco — they’re great.

Went to this Shell for 15 years then they changed owners or something, it has gone done hill. If I was out of gas I would walk to the next station and don’t trust there service shop either they make promises they can’t keep.

OMG the TV screens with ads are SO LOUD. They play the same ads over and over, and you hear all commercials at the same time screaming at you. Even in my car hiding during fill up all the ads penetrate your car and your skull.

I’m used to filling up at this Shell gas station every time I start my drive home. Unfortunately, after the terrible attitude I received one day, I don’t think I’ll be a patron at this gas station anymore. I liked the car wash deal; buy a car wash and receive 20 cents off per gallon of gas. Great! I needed a carwash after all the salt on the road from the earlier winter storm. I purchased the Ultimate Car Wash for $ 12 which includes the undercarriage wash and the triple foam conditioner. After I finish filling my gas tank and complete the sale outside, I hit the option for carwash, got my code and went to the carwash station. I’ve used this carwash several times before, so I know what to expect. That particular day, there was something wrong with the machine (the triple foam conditioner wasn’t spraying). After finishing what was left of the wash, I parked my car, went inside and explained to the owner there was something wrong with the conditioner spray. He said that I got the wrong carwash option; I had to pay for the next higher option. I quickly countered that false statement by showing him his own advertisement. I then went on to further explain to him what had happened. Instead of apologizing as you would expect, he started laughing while he said «What do you want me to do?»…a discount would be nice. I had to explain to him what it means to buy a defective product or pay for a service that was not properly completed. He takes a look at my receipt. With a smug attitude he says the best thing he can do is offer me the next lower option carwash. I’m thinking to myself I don’t need another carwash, I just got one! It was obvious he didn’t really care. I grabbed my receipt and said, «Nevermind, you just lost a customer!» As I walked out the door he had the gall to yell, «I never lose a customer!» I won’t ever be going back to that gas station.

This is actually a Shell gas station located in the Union Mill shopping plaza. I’m guessing it’s the same owner as the 13 401 Lee Hwy location down the road since they have the same prices and do the same WEEKEND DEAL (premium gas prices are the same as their mid-​grade gas).
