Came here on a football Sunday to watch some basketball. We went in the late afternoon and it was surprisingly not completely packed. The bartender was nice enough to change one of the screens to the Nets vs Warriors game and thankfully we didn’t get booed out of the bar by the patrons. The wings are phenomenal and they are 50 cents on Sunday! I was in heaven. The rock fries were yummy too. who can say no to cheese fries topped with bacon. They also have a decent beer selection on tap. This is a great local bar.

Try the apple cider shot! It’s like biting fresh crispy apple coming through your throat. Food is just okay. A female bartender is very sweet and attentive. Will go back.

When I tell you nobody, I mean nobody can touch their wings! I order my wings«hot» and my baby gets her wings«rock hot»…all we do is look at each other with tears… tears of happiness and tears from the kick these wings have! They come out crispy and swim in the perfect amount of sauce. The beers on draft are ALWAYS ice cold and crisp in a nice CLEAN glass! We go quite often on Sundays during football season to devour the 50 cent wings… sometimes we each get another order when we’re feelin like fat pigs or hungover from the night before!

Nice bar. They have homemade beef jerky which I’ve never quite seen in a bar before. Staff is nice enough. The bathrooms are questionable as with most dive bars. seems like a great local bar, only stopped in for a drink so didn’t really get to try out there beer selection

Stopped in the other day before a bus ride to a concert. Nice atmosphere and good people. Took the bus down to a concert. The food was great. The wings and ribs were enjoyable. Great bunch of people. Gotta stop in on a football Sunday,

Great bar unless Joey is working. Probaby the worst service I’ve had in a bar. Serves you one drink then intentionally ignores you the rest of the night. Had one beer in the hour I was there because he refused to acknowledge my friend and I. Instead of flipping and breaking bottles maybe he should pay more attention to patrons. Otherwise the other bartenders are awesome and the food is amazing. Can be a fun place to spend a night out.

Absolutely wonderful wings here. There really are not to many places that have mastered the art of buffalo wings, but this place has done it. They cook the wings until the skin is crispy not soggy and all the different sauces make for a wonderful experience. A great addition to my culinary experience in New Jersey. Love them thank you

This is a fantastic bar. It’s very much a dive bar that can be a nice quiet place to drink. As well if you wanted to go with a few friends and have a great time. I’d rather go here before going to the Shannon Rose, or just substitute it entirely. I went last night and had the French onion soup and jalapeño poppers. It was nothing special, but I was with a friend drinking a Gin & Tonic, which made the night special. This place is extremely diverse. Everyone comes here. It doesn’t matter who you are. I can see myself becoming a regular and chatting with the other regulars. Next time I’ll try a burger or the taco salad. By the way, they have an extensive drink menu. Go ahead and experiment a bit.

Started going to this place after my last bar decided to start overcharging me for Yuengling because the owners and bartenders thought it wasn’t a domestic beer. That’s a whole other Review! Anyway, Went to this bar for the last few weeks of Football season and I have to say I absolutely loved it! The only reason it doesn’t get a 5 is because it’s about 15 minutes away which sucks if you are going on a Sunday to drink and watch Football. Will start taking an Über to and from next year. The beers: Great selection of taps. A couple good IPAs, some seasonals, and a little bit for all beer drinkers. The Interior: Looks like a dive… I LOVEIT! Lots of TVs and a projector and a screen in one of the room. s The Service: The bartenders were all super friendly. I’ve shared many on-the-house home made hard cider shots with them. Delicious! The Food: Well since I only went for football, I only ate the wings, and they were mighty tasty wings. Lots of sauces to choose from. Thai chili was extremely good. Overall this place rocks for Football Sunday and I can’t wait for Football season to start again just so I have a reason to go back!

The wings here are excellent! They have a variety of flavors. Since I love seafood, the garlic & old bay wings CHANGEDMYLIFE! Decent price beers and multiple tv’s so you can enjoy the game from basically anywhere at the bar. The only gripe was the size of their shots. Or «mini-shots»… They serve them in some plastic thimble looking cups. But that’s it… Will return for sure!

The hubby and I were planning on having a Wii Tetris marathon on Friday night. Unfortunately for us, we don’t seem to know where our Tetris game is currently. In an attempt to entertain ourselves for the evening, my husband went on Unilocal and searched for local bars with darts. Luckily for us, The Rock popped up in his search. So, we said«Why not? Let’s give it a try.» As we drove up to the place, we were a bit unsure as there are no windows, but we said, let’s go inside, if it’s bad we’ll walk right out. The inside was fine, typical of any dive bar. There is a huge rectangular bar in the middle of the main room with ample seating. There is a back room(it’s open to the bar area) with several dart boards and a pool table. We ordered a couple of beers, and got darts from the bartender. They will hold a Driver’s License or a Credit Card in exchange for 3 darts. We went into the back room and grabbed one of the dart boards. Good thing we did, the dart boards all filled up within 30 minutes of us getting there. So, great place if you want to throw darts or shoot some pool. The Rock also has a great selection of draft beers. I stuck with my usual Yuengling. Yes, I’m a creature of habit, and I’m proud to admit it. My husband had a couple different drafts. He seemed pleased that they offered Sam Adams Cherry Wheat on draft. That’s one of his favorites. I probably would have given 5 stars because this place is awesome, but I made the mistake of using the ladies room while I was there. The bathroom was the most disgusting thing! There are two stalls, one of which had the toilet paper roll laying on the floor, no thanks! So, I opted to wait for the other stall to empty. This next part is of no fault of the bar, some women are just gross. I understand you don’t want to sit on a toilet seat in a bar so you«hover», but if you do that, be courteous and wipe the seat off when you’re done! Yuck! I don’t want to wipe up someone else’s urine. The bathrooms are dirty and the paper towel dispenser was falling apart, and it was pretty obvious by the filth on it, that it’s been in that current state for some time. I was pretty repulsed, but that damn beer goes right through me, so I couldn’t hold it until I got home. Great selection of music playing the entire time we were there! We didn’t eat any food, but they had an awesome selection of wing sauces, so we’d probably try to get wings on a future visit. There is no parking lot, so be prepared to park on the street. We had no problem finding a spot.

Good local bar. It’s on main avenue but in a low-key area so easy to miss it. Good street parking on the side street. They have a limited bar menu. Decent to grab some food with drinks. The service is friendly and quick. The bar is large, the back area is for darts. A row of dart boards. Pretty crowded in the back when we were there.

Little hole in the wall that has great food! Best wings I’ve had in a while, nice & crispy. Small bar, good for cheap drinks too.

Only place I go for cheesesteaks… So i get 4 or 5 for the family to go or when at work. Great in taste and each one weighs a ton. A side of fries can be shared by a few people. Wings are good even though I’m faithful to another nearby location.

Great spot for wings and beer as many have said below. They have many selections of wing sauces to choose from which make The Rock stand out amongst most of the bars here. Ambiance is loud with old school rock music most of the time while I was there. I liked how they had TVs lined up on all the walls. If you’re a sports junkie this place does the job — watched Olympics, NBA, and NFL combine on 3 separate TVs with ease. I’m glad they were all flat screens too, some bars around here still aren’t using HD TVs. They also have a pool table and darts section towards the back that is surprisingly well lit. I tried the spicy BBQ and honey garlic wings. Loved the honey garlic. The spicy BBQ was good too, but I found myself eating more the honey garlic wings. I think next time I’ll try just regular hot wings instead and see how i like them. Wings are good size and they vary it up well with drum sticks and wingers. The good thing is, with so many flavors it should keep me coming back.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Bartenders are awesome. Decent selection of beers on tap. The relaxed atmosphere makes it a great place to hang out. Only had food a few times but everything I had ordered was pretty good. If it were closer to where I lived it would definitely be a «go to» spot.

My go to spot for wings and beer. Everyone minds their business and enjoy their time. Space for a get together where you can play darts, pool etc. They just added more draft beer options so take your pick of beers. I dont pay attention to the crowd usually so I cant say what«kind of crowd» comes here. Wings are definitely top notch here so go crazy!

Excellent local dive bar with a good assortment of beers on tap. I really enjoy the music(most nights). The atmosphere is pretty standard. They have a back section for games like darts, etc. I tried the Spicy BBQ Wings(very tasty) and The Rock Wings(very spicy). Both enjoyable, but the Rock Wings were a bit too much heat for me. They make Apple Pie shots by the batches, so delicious! Personally not a huge fan of the Bubble Gum shot, but a lot of people order that too. They make a great LIT =) Service is consistently great. Overall one of my favorite bars.
