Valley Animal Hospital is a full service animal hospital and welcomes both emergency treatment cases as well as pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Dr. Bruce Henderson and Dr. Elizabeth Kozakiewicz have years of experience treating serious conditions and offering regular pet wellness care. Beyond first rate pet care, we make our clinic comfortable, kid-​friendly, and calm, so your pet can relax in the waiting room and look forward to meeting our Clifton veterinarians.

We offer dentistry, surgery/​laser surgery, rehabilitation and boarding.

History

Established in 1980.

Dr. Henderson, DVM CCRP was a full partner for ten years and has been the sole owner of Valley Animal Hospital since 2011. A graduate of Purdue University’s School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Henderson has been practicing for 30 years.

Valley Animal Hospital was one of the first hospitals in the entire Northeast U.S. to utilize this type of surgery in veterinary medicine. We have over a decade of experience in its use. Dr. Henderson continues to innovate to ensure Valley Animal Hospital’s services are top notch.

A recent call to this vet provided little support and assistance to our medical challenge. The receptionist showed little compassion and was more interested in getting us off the phone than providing recommendations for us and out pet. There are better pet care givers that provide equal love and compassion. Consider alternative care for your family member.

The only reason I gave one star is because of the vet tech Jimmy. He was amazing with my pup. I brought my dog in for an allergy issue and they told me to come back in 10 days for a re-​check at no charge. I went back for the re-​check and as they told me the Dr was charging $ 48 for the visit. I went into a room to talk to him to explain I was told there was no charge. He immediately changed his tone from the visit before. He became very abrasive yelling at me that I was wrong. I was shocked that he would actually talk to a patient like that. I will NEVER go back there again!

Valley Animal Hospital’s first and foremost mission is to make money not the welfare or health of the pet. When you question the docs they become irritated and condescending. Brought my pet there for severe reaction to frontline they prescribed, they shaved my pet then carried out of their laboratory in a gurney, my pet was overdosed and woke up 22 hours later, extremely insensitive and carelessly staff. I would not trust bringing a street rat there.
