History

Established in 1981.

Established in 1981 Dr. Joanne Domson took over the business. She was one of the first women to practice allergy in the Washington DC metro area. Dr. Samee joined the practice in 2002 after completing her fellowship at the University of Virginia.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Dr. Samee grew up in Alexandria, Virginia. She studied at Howard University College of Medicine on an academic scholarship. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. She practiced internal medicine for three years and was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at George Washington University. She then completed her Fellowship training at The University of Virginia where she received several honors and grants. She has published research articles on hyperpolarized helium imaging of the lungs and has coauthored several chapter in Allergy & Immunology textbooks. She is Board Certified in Allergy in Immunology. She continues to be active as an asthma educator and splits her time between her three offices. She can really relate to her patients since she also has allergies and asthma.
