American Moving Solutions

I used American Moving Solutions, LLC for my move at the end of July. The move coordinator/​crew chief Kevin Charles is disorganized and the what seems like day laborers that work for him know way more about how to move things. Kevin gave me a quote of the move taking 5 hours. I even had everything packed so all they had to do was put in on the truck and move it. Plus, a U-​haul truck was used. What kind of moving company is this?! Well, 5 hours turned into 10! And they charge you for any supplies they use so he wraps tape around everything. Plus, they want you to pay everything in cash. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

These guys were really great. Both movers were very friendly. They actually took care of my stuff. They were helpful enough to go to another address the same day that I was moving to get my roomates things since there was extra space left in the truck. (This was like 2 for the price of 1 even though I paid for a little extra time).
Nothing had a scratch on it by the end. Plus one of the movers is the owner, so he cares about making sure that the job is done right.
I watched the guy moving out of my new building right as we were about to unload. He used Gulliver’s Movers. They looked horribly careless compared to my movers. I felt like I definitely made a great choice.
They are in MD, but I had them move me from Dupont to Cleveland Park.
