Steward’s Hardware Company is a family owned & operated hardware store, established in 2008. We pride ourselves on the great service, selection, convenience, and competitiveness that we provide to the residents and visitors of the shoreline. Throughout each of our departments, you will see that we carry the widest selection of high-​quality brands and product lines that you can find, while still providing competitive pricing. We are providing our customers with convenient hours by being open seven days a week. We also provide our customers with extended weekday hours. We are centrally located at 114 East Main Street in Clinton, Connecticut, directly across the street from the beautiful Liberty Street Green. Steward’s Hardware Company is a member of one of the largest retailer-​owned hardware cooperatives in the industry, ACE Hardware, «The Helpful Place». Business Owner

Todd Steward and Cherie Sears-​Thompson are the owners of Steward’s Hardware Company. They both grew up on the shoreline of Connecticut. Todd has a great deal of hardware experience beginning with his teen years working in a local hardware store in Clinton. At one time, he was an outside sales representative for Hillman Fasteners. Todd has also previously been a manager of an Ace Hardware store and has finally brought his knowledge and skill back to his home town. Cherie and Todd have a strong belief in great customer service, wide product selection, competitive pricing, and convenience for their customers. This belief is visible as soon as you walk through their door. They have chosen to be a member of the Ace Hardware cooperative, which is the largest retailer-​owned cooperative in the industry. Cherie and Todd believe that helping you is the most important thing they have to do everyday.
