Ewha Won invites you to experience unique Chinese dishes that are instilled with a touch of the Korean cuisine. Ewha Won is named after the summer palace of Emperor Lian of the Jin Dynasty.
The restaurant’s specialty lies in putting a subtle twist to classic noodle recipes. One of Ewha Won’s signature dishes includes the famous Jajangmyeon, made out of handmade noodles infused with fresh spinach.
History
Established in 2007.
Ewha Won was founded by the Chon family, whose experiences range from the simple taverns of Jeonju, Korea, to working in the high-cuisine Asian restaurant business of Europe. Directly from our kitchen and to your plate — we boast high quality and originality.

Business Owner
Born in South Korea, I moved to New York in the early 80ies to study Jazz Music. Upon graduating I moved Europe and worked as a restaurant manager in Austria, where I found my love. After getting married, I decided to move back to the East Coast to realize my dream of owning my own restaurant.
