History

Established in 1976.

Formerly known as «Clovis Custom Drywall» and founded by Dan Ploy in 1976, Dan’s son Matt has been leading the company forward since 2008 under «Custom Drywall Service.»

When Dan founded the company in the 70’s, he quickly garnered a local reputation, setting a standard for high-​quality, professionalism, and prompt service amongst homeowners and builders; many of whom they still work with today. Dan always taught his son, «Don’t follow. Lead.» Taking this advice to heart, Matt has carried on that philosophy to this very day, clearly setting themselves apart from any drywall company you’ll find here.

Custom Drywall Service prides itself in being the exception to the rule for the local construction industry. Their use of modern-​technologies, communication, professionalism, education, and forward-​thinking business practices are unlike typical «hometown» contractors in the area.

I’m a young, ambitious professional in the construction industry, fortunate to own and operate this 2^nd generation family business.

I’ve taken my college education, as well as what my dad has taught me with his decades of wisdom, trade knowledge, and business-​savvy to evolve this company into what it is today.

I subscribe to what I believe is a more forward-​thinking business model, in that I believe we are not just selling a product or a service, but a «why.» The last thing I want our clients to think of us as, is «just another construction» or drywall company; my goal is to be different than anyone else in our market, and to always strive to achieve a unique customer experience that people can only get here.
