Welcome to Love & Labor Birth Services, providing doula support and birth photography to families in Fresno /​Clovis, California and surrounding areas. Whether this is your first pregnancy, or you’ve been down this road before, studies have shown that having a doula has many benefits for not only the laboring woman, but also her partner. Through emotional, physical, and informational support, my goal is to guide you towards YOUR ideal birth. Un-​medicated or medicated, hospital or home birth, breastfeeding or formula… Your choices are what I strive to help you achieve on your big day.

It all started with the birth of my daughter in 2005. I was immediately amazed and entranced by the whole process of pregnancy, labor, and birth. I read every book that I could get my hands on and wanted to talk about it with anyone that would listen. It was then that I knew I wanted to be a doula. I wanted to help others navigate this fascinating journey of pregnancy and birth and help them to experience the same love and support that I had experienced. Only 6 weeks after my daughter’s arrival, I attended my first birth and it confirmed everything that I knew already; I wanted to be a doula! I completed my doula training through DONA, and I continue to add on to my education whenever I can. Every day brings a new light and appreciation for the strength of women, and every day I’m excited to see where my doula journeys will lead me through Love & Labor … and beyond.
